Dee shook as her hands took the wheel. A couple of tears trickled down her chin as she shook her head from side to side and said, "I don't know! Darling, I've no idea what I'm supposed to do! You..."
Her voice lowered as though she feared someone could hear them through the door but her wide-eyed gaze turned to Hoch as she continued in barely a whisper, "You killed Thomas. Y-you're right, it was you on the chopping block. They should be kicking aside your body back there right now instead of him a-and this is wrong and this is your fault as far as I'm concerned. You should have never come into my life like that, you see what you've gone and made me do - I wasn't supposed to do anything but make sure you didn't run away but I didn't follow orders. Look at that, me not following orders and rightly Thomas was upset, I got in his way of carrying out his orders to kill you.
I got in the way and look what happened! I've no idea what Morgan is to say about this. Frankly it hurts that Morgan expected this of me, apparently. You say he bores easy but darling, we've been so close he and I for many years, to think that I'd go soft that he plans for it behind my back is...is...! W-well I suppose he was right on that one but it makes no matter, he doesn't trust me after all of this time. I'm the one who screwed it up and ohhh, that man is hurting so badly already with everything going wrong and I can see that twisted...hate in his eyes and feel even from a distance every muscle and nerve of his being reverberating in anger! He was wary of me, and now I've gone and given him full reason to be! I'm no better than...t-than the rest of them..."
She feared the most having to face Morgan over this. Even if he wouldn't kill her just knowing that this was where she stood in the crew pained her so to think of. She made an awful mistake and right now she let out a very shaky, weepy sigh as she kicked the engine in gear and glanced around to make sure she wasn't going to hit anyone as they drove out of the alley and into the street, turning the vehicle to the right when they were to be turning left to start. She moved them onto side streets and tried to get out of view quickly, from the gang, from the police, from everyone.
"I-I need to take you somewhere, though. Where are you going? Where would you like to go? Somewhere safe, somewhere Morgan can't go," Deadra's voice shook weakly.

Edgar looked and saw the dead body that was of Albatross. He took a sigh and looked, "Killed a dwarv minor... Pathetic." He muttered to himself as he watched everyone freak out about the van situation. Edgar took a deep breath and wondered what they were going to do. It wouldn't pass Edgar's mind that Morgan might leave some people behind, but then an idea came to him. One of most ingenious and glorious. "Guys, let's stay calm. I got an idea how to get another Van." Edgar said as he pulled out a burn phone. He started to type in numbers and held the phone up to the side of his head, moving the cowl away so that he could put the ear piece next to his ear. "Come on... pick up." Edgar waited until the phone was answered.

"He was going to kill me and bloody your pretty face up. I regret nothing." Hoch defended, he didn't know what was going on but he felt oddly... calm about everything. Perhaps because moments ago he was sure he was going to die and now he was beginning to feel in control of his own life again. Funny how that was. Dee on the other hand seemed moments away from breaking down completely... which might have been very dangerous or completely to his advantage. "You're going to be fine, Dee. You'll see... I'll take care of everything."
The car getting sent in motion made his suddenly think about where they should be going. Currie may not like Dee being with him but they'd just have to adapt...
"Sea Line Road. I've got something of a safe house there..." Hoch said as he reached into his pocket to grab his phone. Typing out a text to Currie he sent the message away - 'Got the money, heading to Arnheim's beach house. Do you have the kids?' Hoch managed to just drive away with Morgan's money, Currie have better been able to grab those kids.

On this highly chaotic afternoon during rush hour traffic a very frazzled, overworked Dwarf by the name of Iladar Trundleton was in the process of driving home from work. In his little van that was conveniently big enough to carry fifteen people in it (he kind of had to on a regular basis) he was frantic to get home after stopping by the flower shoppe for his darling wife, Jyskerra, and very much not looking forward to speaking with his daughter Jana because according to Jyskerra's last text he'd received he "had to do something about his daughter, she's out of control".
His phone rang in the seat beside him and he glanced over, trying to keep his eyes on the road. Seeing 'Edgar' show up on his phone he sighed heavily and debated even answering it at all. He was worried about what the man wanted to do now, always trying to get ahold of him to go bowling and play darts, and even invited himself over for dinner from time to time. But in his heart he couldn't ignore family and so he picked up the phone and answered it.
"...Yes, Edgar?" he spoke.
Dee in the meantime tried to keep herself calm as she made her way to Hoch's destination choice, unsure of what exactly he could possibly do to supposedly 'take care of everything' but she supposed she had no choice but to go along with it now.
"I should have known better, I really shouldn't have done anything at all. I couldn't help it though, I didn't want you to die. You're certainly a lot more braver than I would have given you credit for, the way you spoke to Thomas. It was lovely, really, especially when he gets that pushy and angry..." her thoughts aloud trailed off and she remained silent for a very long time, of which in that timeframe Hoch received a message back from Currie that read 'Got 'em. Happy to do this but glad you're the motherfucker takin 'em bcuz holy shit. the screaming. See you soon.'
As the van got closer to the Sea Line Road as Hoch had asked Dee had to ask for him to narrow down the directions from there, everything like what turn next and whereabouts. Soon the house he was looking for came into view, several cars parked all around the outside like there was some party going on inside.

It wasn't bravery... it was the acceptance of death. Hoch thought to himself as his phone gave a light buzz, he lifted and frowned at the text, half happy to see the kids had been taken alright and half worried they might have been injured. Currie didn't seem like the type of guy to let those kids get hurt but you never know what could have happened.
"Thanks for standing up for me, by the way." Hoch said with a glance towards her, "You risked your own life there and I thank you for that. Truly." As they pulled up to the house Hoch wondered how they would react to seeing Dee... or if they would blindly rob him of the cash, which he intended to give to Morgan's kids and keep the rest for himself. A parting gift from Morgan's company, basically.
"Alright, just let me do the talking here. Things could get tense." Probably should have told her that I was working with Currie... and we kidnapped Morgan's kids, oh, she'll love that.

Edgar had a grin as wide as he was excited as his cousin picked up. "Hey cousin. How are you? Look, I will get to the point. I need to get a ride from Thelotia's Merchant bank, on the corner of Auront and Miulk. I wouldn't ask you if it wasn't an emergency. I have a few friends that would like to have a ride too. Please?" He asked, elongating the please on his sentence. As his mother taught Edgar 'You can always count on your family.'

For Edgar? A ride? His friends? Now? No, not when Iladar was on his way home. It was busy, he was tired, he was hungry, his family was waiting for him...
"Cousin, this is a very bad time to be calling me. I understand it is an emergency but..." Iladar sighed. It's not like Edgar would have just decided to have an accident and needing to call for help, that was what an emergency was. His cousin was a very special, creepy kind of individual but he reminded himself how very wrong it would be to deny the help simply because he didn't want to, not because of a valid reason at all.
"I'll...I'm in the area. I will be there in a couple of minutes," Iladar answered as he changed his mind. He tucked away his phone and detoured himself off on the next turn instead of taking it straight through, doing a couple of rounds around the massive city block and coming up to what was without a doubt the most chaotic stand off that he'd ever seen at the bank. What was going on?! The atmosphere worried him greatly, to think his cousin was caught up in this? He only briefly sighed in relief at the fact that he didn't turn his cousin down for this, how awful would that have been for him to deny giving him help only to find out that he ended up dead or something because of some awful robbery in progress? Of course, he had no idea where Edgar was so he drove slowly up along the side of the sidewalk coming up to the back of the bank, completely unaware of where he should even be going. The front was blocked entirely by police, he barely had room to drive here. Where was Edgar?
At the beach house, Dee didn't even think about where exactly they were as they climbed out of the truck. Though as she did she couldn't help but smile as Hoch thanked her for her at least attempting to help him back at the bank, a quick, "You're worth standing up for, I'm glad I did," mentioned to him before they made their way up to the house. Voices were heard in the garage, the door wide open and inside stood a large handful of armed men, Arnheim, and even Currie himself. Currie leaned with his back against the wall, eyes closed and with his brows furrowed in frustration. At the mention of Arnheim's voice announcing, "The Dwarv Minor!" Currie's eyes snapped open and in an instant he was marching himself towards them at the door.
However, at the sight of Dee he froze and raised a hand to the men with them. Guns were instantly aimed at the svelte woman as Currie spoke, "Whoaaa! Hang on, here. Why her?" Arnheim laughed over his revolver at the sight of them, though.
"Is funny! Look at this, he comes alive and with a hostage! He even beat her up, hahaha!" Arnheim howled, his own actions causing his fellow gunmen to laugh along with him, "this is good, we can use her!"
"ARNHEIM," Currie snarled, nostrils flaring as he looked from Dee to Hoch, not doubting there had to be a reason for this but paranoid all the same, "this isn't funny!"
"Dwarv Minor, this is not funny," Arnheim immediately spoke afterward, surprisingly the large man's smile faded the moment Currie raised his voice at him, "but you do well. We will take the woman."
"Are you okay? Why is she here? Where's Morgan?" Currie interrupted, asking Hoch all of his questions rapidly.

Try and take her and you'll be joining Albatross... Hoch thought as he put himself between the two, giving a glance up towards Currie. The only man with any intelligence around here, Hoch thought he'd be able to reason with him. "Albatross tried to kill me but I was quicker. Dee helped me escape the bank so she's a FRIEND, lower your weapons." He directed that comment to Currie's goons.
"I never saw Morgan, not once. So either he got caught up in traffic or he doesn't plan on showing up at all, either way he's none the wiser about what just happened. For now at least."
As if all of this was old news Hoch dusted off his costume and gave Currie a half smile, "Where are the kids? None of them were hurt, I hope."

Dee made to back up from the group, though a quick glance behind her stopped her in her tracks as they'd quickly moved into block her an exit. She watched on in a defensive stare and hoped to everything (as she appeared to have no other choice now) that Hoch was right when he said he'd do the talking and all his claims that everything will be fine. She never thought Currie to be much of an angry man or someone who would hold a serious grudge but everything about this whole thing right now scared her.
Currie seemed worried, too. Something clearly weighed heavy on his mind as his stare hardened and he looked from Hoch to Dee. His stare seemed to make her shake even more, like somehow at any moment she was expecting him to order them all to shoot her down but she had a moment to let out a weak gasp as he waved his hand at the men around them to do as Hoch said and lower their weapons, though his demeanor never changed as he quickly started barking at his men around him.
"Fuck!" he growled, running a hand through his hair and pointing an accusing finger at Arnheim, "you!....We don't have time for this."
"He goes to your home first, not mine," Arnheim answered defensively.
"No, he goes to my club first, not my home," Currie felt the need to correct him. Currie turned his attention briefly back to Hoch, first thing first being that he needed to know what was going on and have questions answered.
"Kids are fine. They're kinda bound up and stuffed in a guarded van just outside the door here but they're fine..."
"The girl, all she does is scream! She can be like those ladies in the opera with the loud voice and the never-ending!" Arnheim added, giving a point to the blue van in question.
"The boy fights! He does this one," added one of the foreign gunmen who rolled up his sleeve to show quite a nasty, black bruise along the length of his forearm he'd received apparently earlier that upon revealing several sniggers were heard.
"Gentlemen!" Currie yelled, silencing all of them in an instant, "you're going to prepare that van with the kids in it for Hoch - Hoch, you're switching vehicles and getting the hell out of here. Because you see when Arnheim went to go pick up these kids--"
"I went, yes! The wife, she is so stupid and funny! I knock on the door, she opens it up, I come in like this...!" in a quick swoop Arnheim launched his hand out towards one of his guys' mouths but paused before he actually touched him at all, "she has no room to think or scream! I sat with her and the men took the kids, it was easy. So easy! She is pregnant, yeah? She says she will name the little one Eleanor, it is very cute," Arnheim told the tale, giving a sheepish chuckle while Currie nodded, grimly pointing at Arnheim and glancing down at Hoch.
"And most importantly, Gillian recognized him. So we," Currie gestured to himself and his gang, "have a severe problem now! No doubt the moment they left she said something to Morgan and if you don't know where he is, he could be anywhere right this second. He might not even be at that bank, he could be halfway to coming to bomb our asses! You're switching vehicles, you're getting the hell out of here and I have a meeting to get to...sooner than later!"
"There is money in their other truck..." called one of the guys from outside.
"Throw it in this one and get him out of here!" Currie hotly answered. With the snapping of his fingers suddenly everyone moved. As they ran ahead to prepare the vehicle with Aria and Matthew in it Currie merely shook his head, whether it was his injuries or the stress (or even a mix of both) he looked very strained at the moment as he looked to Hoch and asked, "You are ready to just leave, right? There's no stops you need to make?"

Hoch couldn't see what the problem was, "So Morgan will want you dead even more. Nothing new there..." He gave a shrug, "He needs that money anyway, he's gonna make sure that gets done." He didn't seem terribly worried about it all but to be honest Hoch was finding it difficult to care about much right now. Give him time, he'd be down and barfing in a moment or two.
"Indeed, I'm taking the kids away and then you'll never seen me again." He gave a small nod to Currie's words, "Anyway, I'll see them now." Hoch had known those kids for years, they would listen to him... otherwise he'd have to find a way to make them listen. "Would one of you pour me a cup of juice, perhaps? Water for Dee as well, we've both just come out of a very stressful situation." His head was pounding really but he knew he had to press forward.

Currie's eye twitched as he answered Hoch quickly with, "I'm not worried about ME. I'm worried about you! And them!" He pointed to the van that held Aria and Matthew, then gave a bewildered look to Dee.
"A-and I guess HER now, too! Somehow...argh, this is giving me a headache," Currie grumbled as he rubbed his temples. Arnheim was quick to his side to pat him on the shoulder but Currie shoved him off.
"Morgan can hunt me all he wants. If he's got idiots to handle his money I would suspect he cares more that someone just intruded on his family like this. Not to mention missing money. I'd rather everything be well accounted for and no room for error and..."
"Juice and water is coming. Mr. Kreatur, feel free to visit the kids and be wary when you open the door, the girl really hasn't stopped screaming I don't think," Fin interrupted. Where Arnheim was shoved away Fin forced an arm on Currie's shoulder and gavr him a push away towards the house. When he opened his mouth to argue she simply smiled and continued, "Zachary has done more than plenty and he is still in a lot of pain, very busy, needs a rest. I'm looking after the rest here. Come with me, Mr. Kreatur."
With Currie away Fin motioned for Hoch to follow, a few quick steps to the vehicle that Currie demanded they switch to and she invited him to go see for himself. Where they were left was the back seat, side by side and bound up tightly as Currie had promised. Matthew glared at whoever he could see through the window, quiet as can be. As for his sister...

Edgar looked at noticed his cousin through the windshield. He looked at the remaining men and said, "Alright, my cousin might not have a clue on what is going on, so let's try to keep it that way." He then ran up to the van and jumped in front of it. "COUSIN! HEY, IT'S ME!" He shouted, as he ran to the side and open the passenger side door. "Hey, so my friends are over there, and they are going to put the stuff in the van okay?"

Iladar was lost in his thoughts. As weird as he found his cousin Edgar to be he couldn't deny the worry he felt for him, the fear of his safety in this whole incident that honestly looked like it was getting really intense. His hands gripped the steering wheel tightly as he inched along, the only thing that broke the eery silence in his vehicle at the moment was the 'whump' of Edgar's form landing on the front of the van and startling the other dwarf.
"Damn it!" Iladar cursed so loosely in his native tongue, fearing he'd been too startled he might have slammed a foot down on the raised pedal and ran over Edgar and his 'friends'. Who the hell were these people? They were peanuts. What.
"Cousin, what are you wearing?!" he exclaimed, and then pointed out at the peanuts who charged at the van. They swung open the doors and threw in a few bags, leaving only enough room for them to climb on in and have a place to sit.
"Who are these people?! Why are you all dressed like this?"

Aria closed her mouth and dry swallowed hard, thumping against the car door. "What do you see Matthew?" Aria choked, her voice raw and tough from screaming so much. Bound hands and feet but not gagged, she thought she could simply just scream until they let her go out of willingness. But that wasn't happening. She slipped her hands under her feet and scooted across the van. "Do you see anyone you know?" She asked, too short to pear out. Aria leaded against the wall, eyes scanning the arena.
She wish she had her book bag, the new one she just got with the baby pile liner and the hot pint exterior. It was jammed packed with all kinds of sharp things that she really could use right about now. Sadly, those items along with Matthew's were dropped in the struggle. Aria still tasted blood from when she bite one of those men. Aria groaned and kicked the other wall with her studded raspberry heels. NORMAL. it was a normal day and she managed to escape the whole time without seeing her father and now THIS!? COULD SHE NOT GET A BREAK.
"HEEEYY!" Aria screamed and hit the nearest wall. "HEELP PLEASE SOMEBODY HEELP!" She screamed as loud as she could, which wasn't much. She was beginning to lose her voice and her tears rain dry a while ago, however she didn't loose her fight. "DAMN YOU ALL!" She screamed. "I AM ARIA FLYNN. MORGAN FLYNN'S DAUGHTER. DO YOU REALLY THINK IT'S WISE TO MESS WITH A FLYNN? YOU FREAKING THOUGH WRONG!" She screamed and kicked and slapped anything, looking like an over grown baby having a tantrum.
Meanwhile over at Nevy's case. She was thrown from place to place and even though she followed and did what she was told, she was still lost and confused. Nevy glared at Iladar as he showed up and glanced around. "Are we suppose to just trust this guy?" She questioned, absolutely baffled by this whole take of events.

What Iladar Trundleton had earlier thought was just him being a good, loyal family member was really just him being used for a getaway and he had no idea. Strange people jumped into his van, including this woman dressed in a red hood. A bee, peanuts, and a red-hooded woman, and bags that they brought along with them that he was currently afraid to ask about. "What do you mean are you to just trust me?! I am Edgar's cousin and you asked for a ride..." Iladar argued with Neveena, turning a pleading look to Edgar for answers, for him to say something to either of them! Inside the bank as the amount of hired goons dwindled down in numbers time was quickly running out. Felicity saw the last of the crew out of the bank just as a gorgeous luxury car sped up into the alley and nearly sideswiped Iladar's fully little Dwarf van. Nearly crashing head on into the back door, the doors opened up and out stepped a startled man from the passenger seat wearing a navy suit and tie. He weakly raised his hands in the air as the driver door flung open and out stepped Morgan still in his awkward go-go dancer outfit, one revolver in his hand pointed down at the man he'd brought along with him. As they marched into the bank together to go over the 'final touches' Morgan only giggled away about how fast the man's vehicle was, making it all the more apparent that Morgan had decided to 'borrow' the vehicle and its owner. Once inside Felicity made to meet them, giving an intimidating glower down at the startled businessman who nearly fainted at the sight of the woman. Morgan gave the place a once over and smiled broadly at how many explosives had been planted - with the amount they had on this side he could only imagine what the front of the building looked like. Like a little school girl he skipped around the corner, leaving Felicity with 'Bob' as he'd nicknamed his hostage, and made to give the front doors a look as well before the authorities became ballsy enough to bust in. His inspection was cut short then as an odd heap on the floor caught his attention and the rifle that lay by it. Narrowing his eyes, Morgan stopped in his tracks as he examined the several bullet holes in the man's chest area and turned a slow, baffled glance over to the large blonde-haired woman. "Felicity!" Morgan called, resting a hand on his hip and pointing the revolver in his other hand down to Albatross's lifeless body, " whyyy is this a thing?" Felicity looked to the body and to Morgan, having no clue what to answer him with other than, "I...don't know." "It's funny because I swear I originally hired you for a specific job. Starts with a 'b' and rhymes with 'bodyguard'..." "Felicity did not make it here in time," Felicity tried to pass it off as minor, arguing her stance considering she only had at least thirty people to watch over and was previously made unaware of who was to be killed and who not during this whole thing. "Oh believe me, I see you didn't. I didn't ask that though, I asked why," Morgan snapped, now turning his gaze to do a head count. Something else felt amiss yet but he couldn't place what. For now he twirled the revolver in his hand and made the inspection as he intended, once done he made his way back to Bob and threw an arm around his shoulders and pulled him with him down the hall. With a large grin on his face he peered into his blue, whimpering eyes and said, "I thank you for all of your help today. To reward you, I leave you here. Sit nice, behave, don't move, and surely the police will find you. You're not getting your car back, though I'm sure you'll have plenty of success finding yourself a new one." The man seemed to thank all the gods as Morgan gave him a shove away, motioning him to stay put but most of all having been released from his or Felicity's grip. The man shook so much he slunk to the floor and just wanted to catch his breath as the crew made their march out the back, more gunshots being fired off as the hidden thugs outside flanked police as they approached. As Morgan strolled along he stopped to reach into Albatross's pockets, pulling forth the little remote device he'd had on him for the heist specifically though Morgan gave it a skeptical look. "Now how does this thing work?" he asked aloud, standing right by the back door and realizing how dumb that definitely sounded coming from a man who was a huge weapons enthusiast. He loved explosives, he loved using them! He supposed it had been awhile since he'd handled one himself, that was normally his boys' job now, he just gave orders. Despite bullets that zipped past his head he casually continued on to the vehicle he'd 'borrowed' from Bob, handing the keys over to Felicity who hopped into the driver's seat as he got into the passenger spot and curiously went about pressing buttons on the little device. Nothing much to it, he figured. One, two, and-- KABAM came the noise of startling, earth-shaking shattering of steel, cement, and glass with a burst of dust, smoke, and stony debris as a large chunk of the front doors had exploded. Morgan watched as the vehicle pulled out the wave of smoke and fire that erupted from the building, the first blast being quickly followed by several more. Felicity silently cursed the man as she sped off and nearly smashed into a police cruiser as they tore by, Morgan was always impatient and detonated shit before it was safe enough to do so. She was surprised after all of these years they were never caught in the blast. In minutes, the first floor of the bank blew apart, leaving the entire building teetering for several minutes and spraying the streets around with dust and smoke. Out at the beach, the young Flynn boy tried to raise himself as high as he could to see out of the shaded windows as they had heard voices approach the vehicle. To his sister's dismay, the brown-haired boy failed to recognize anyone as he couldn't see them. The only figure he could make out as the people got closer was the funny red-headed woman with the glasses who only gave a glance to the window, to which Matthew feebly glared at. He might have been able to try to pick up on voices if Aria would just shut up but the girl was still full of hot air by the sounds of it. "Aria! Aria, settle down!" he pleaded, trying to reason with her, "i-it won't help now..." He didn't know what to say and he tried to look a lot braver than he felt though really he wanted to cry. Things were better when their parents were separated. At least their mother still behaved like their mother then, since getting the family back together she'd gotten weird. She carried knives and talked to herself a lot about how 'nothing was going to take [her] babies away from' her, like somehow she was constantly watching for something or someone. She'd gone crazy, it seemed. Something kept her up at night and he had no one to blame for it but their father. Maybe Tanya, too. Outside Fin merely only gave a look at the tinted windows and where she couldn't see everything, she did see movement. She definitely heard the shrill, desperate shrieking within, something that pierced her in the heart like an icy spade and shook every nerve in her body. It was something she couldn't control, her heart rate picking up and the shortness of breath she felt, the numbing feeling in her legs and arms. Currie told her not to go anywhere near the children when brought but Currie was also still recovering from heavy injury and having a panic attack of his own, he was under stress and was in no position to properly handle anything of the sort so she forced herself to do this. She had to for him, he wasn't going to be around forever and soon enough she was going to be in charge and this wasn't going to be the last time she'd handle kidnappings. Despite the horrendous mixture of feelings going on within her the woman gave an emotionless stare to the vehicle. She could do this, she wasn't here alone. Hoch was friendly to these kids, they'd calm down soon enough.
