Amorite wasn't a man who normally questioned the goals of the Rebellion. He knew the government was corrupted - he had memories that attested to that - but he sometimes wondered how much good the Rebellion was doing. Their cause was righteous, no doubt, but their presence created poverty and death. A long drawn out conflict like this would no doubt end up leading to further loss of life and wealth... but if it was to fix an injustice than it was worth it, right?
That was the question Amorite was struggling with for awhile now. As he walked through the dark streets of the red light district he began to wonder if this city had anything good in it. He didn't like the word that circled his mind, 'hero', but that's almost exactly what he wanted to find in these dark streets. He had once thought of himself as a hero but that was a long time ago and he had too many scars to believe that anymore.
So why was he out here? Well he had escaped the apartment under the excuse that they were out of pickles (which they actually weren't) and that he desperately needed more to finish making dinner but in reality he just needed to get out of there for a bit. Sometimes being around too many people in that cramped apartment overwhelmed him and the streets were so wide and open that he could finally breath. As Amorite approached the local market 'Bag em' but buy em'' he had absolutely no idea that it was in the process of being held up by gunpoint... or that those thieves were actually part of a dangerous gang bent on making those who opposed them live's miserable. Apparently the store owner failed to pay up his protection price and that poor old man was about to pay for it.
Amorite - lost in his own little dream world - stepped right into the store, coming face to face with the three masked gunmen who had their weapons trained on the older store owner. "Oh..." Amorite blinked as he finally became aware that he had just walked into a bit of a bad situation. There truly wasn't anything good in this world, was there?

This was a slummy part of town, The drive was long and dark. Riley didn't like this part of town it made him nervous, he tried not to smoke much but this time he did. "The Intel i got was good" he said in his mind over and over, "After all i did threaten to kill him and everyone he knew, And that guy was a rat, he would do anything to live." Still the thought that this could be a ambush rang in his head.
He parked his car in a secluded spot, Riley stepped out of his car, then walked to the trunk of the car grabbing a duffle bag and a bat, he unzipped the bag in side among the clutter was a cassette player, and a mask that looked like skin sewn together. as he approached the Bag em' but Buy em' he saw a some idiot in a daze stumble into the store, more importantly right next to a armed gangster.
He moved among the shadows to the back of the store, the back door was left open carelessly, "This is gonna be easy" he thought. Riley proceeded put on his mask and ready his bat, Walking into the store from the back, The gangster that was supposed to be watching had turned his back. Riley cocked his head to the right and clicked his cassette player "Do you know what time it is?" This got the gangsters attention, it sounded like it was taken from a child's show The cassette wasn't done yet "..... RETRIBUTION.....PICK AND GOD AND PRAY!" Six shots were fired from the gangsters revolver, Not one of them hit, Riley was moving quicker then he should. Before the others could react he was on top of the gangster beating in his face with the bat.

Amorite was glancing between the shop keeper and the gangsters when the man in the creepy mask came waltzing into the store like this was some sort of deranged theater and he was about to deliver the final act. "What the...." Amorite muttered along with basically every guy there as the music started to play. Without warning one of them had made a shot at Riley and the rest quickly followed. Amorite was sure he was about to witness this guy get littered with bullets... but the very opposite happened and it seemed like none of the bullets even came close to him. Seeing only a flashing blur, Riley had slammed his bat into the first of these rotten scums and Amorite was left with just a brief moment to decide what to do.
Acting quickly; the tattoos on Amorite's arm lit up with a dark orange as his eyes changed colors to match them. Suddenly his arm vanished into a flume of hot smoke that spiraled towards the closest thug. The thug never knew what hit him as the smoke quickly moved around him, burning him with enough force for the man to drastically run about in a failing attempt to get away from the smoke. "Aghhhh!" The gangster screamed as he squeezed off a couple of shots that went harmlessly into the nearly wall. The gangster Amorite was focusing on finally succumbed to the pain and fell unconscious when he slammed into a pile of stacked pickle jars.
"Ack!" Amorite yelped seeing all the delicious pickles spill onto the floor, "Gods be damned... what a waste!" Suddenly he felt it, a bullet narrowly missing his neck and slamming into the nearby wall. The last thug had made his move and missed, even if by a mere inch. Amorite went to move against him but he quickly realized the thug had readjusted his aim and prepared to make a second shot - Amorite dived out of the way to find some cover behind bags of chips. With Amorite dodging to the side the panicked thug turned his attention towards Riley.
"What is this!?" He gasped before squeezing off more bullets towards him, "Ain't none of you were supposed to be here!"

The gangster fired a shot at Riley in fear, just barely missing his arm he smirked. "That was your last bullet" The gangster frantically checked his gun during this time Riley grabbed a jar of pickles and threw it at the gangster, Knocking him to the ground Riley rushed at the gangster, It was over for him before he could blink.
Seemingly unshaken by this violence he grabbed a pack of cigarettes and a towel, He strolled on over to the check out counter like nothing had happened. upon placing the items on the counter he realized he didn't have any money on him, Then he proceeded to stroll over to a corpse and take his wallet, and payed for the items using the gangsters money.
Glancing over to the shop keeper still in shock. "What?" he said, then paused for a second, "Right... some people don't like violence, here have this guys wallet". He throws the wallet to the shop keeper.

The smell of vinegar perfumed the air with such a strong scent that it almost overwhelmed the smell of blood and lightly sizzled flesh. Amorite managed to peek from behind his stack of chips as Riley slammed the jar of pickles down onto the last of the gangster's head, knocking him out cold. Amorite tried to resist the audible groan as Riley smashed a very fine jar of spicy pickles down onto the man... it was truly a tragic day today. ARE THERE NO HEROES IN THIS WORLD!?
Amorite pulled himself up from the ground and dusted off his pants as Riley coolly tossed the wallet to the man. Amorite had serious doubts that it would be enough to cover all of THIS damage but hey, at least he was trying to help. Speaking of which... who was this guy?
"Oi!" Amorite said with a light smile as he approached the man. The 6'5 giant loomed high with a dopey smile, "Nice moves there, man. You're not police I assume, right? Nah way, police don't fight like that."

Riley took a look at this giant, it took him a few moments to notice that this was the idiot who stumbled right into the gangster, there was something he was more focused on, No it wasn't that this monster of a man reeked of vinegar it was his power, The smoke.
"No, not the police" He started looking for a tattoo, "Your powers... Those are powers from the Skotadi Tribe... Are you?"

Amorite was a bit uncomfortable at that question and with a glance towards the shop keeper, he could tell he felt the same way by the look he was giving the two. "Uh... not really, no. My mom was..." Amorite said slowly. He'd often try to remember his mom's face, but all he ever saw was a blank faced woman rushing towards him before getting shot, her head exploding as the bullet punched its way through. He couldn't remember her face no matter how hard he tried.
"Listen," the shop keeper said, "You two should leave. The police are on the way and I don't want you two to have any problems." Well at least he didn't just sell them out to the police. Amorite gave a smile and nodded in the man direction, "Oi, crime fighter. Let's get out of here." Amorite said with a wave towards the door. The last thing he intended to do was get caught by the police. They were looking for him and he had no intentions of getting thrown back in that horrid pit again.

Riley smirked, "crime fighter. That's a new one, most people call me psychopath ". He grabbed the towel and started leaving the store, waiting around for the police wasn't something he intended to do. Breathing became strenuous he'd over used his powers, and the police would be on the way soon he started moving quicker, "Do you..... Have a car near?..."
It was about here when he noticed that he left the cigarettes behind he let out a silent and rather pitiful moan. Seeing the smoke powers had brought back some memories, And that was his last cigarette.

"See dude, that's why you shouldn't smoke." Amorite pointed out with a small chuckle as he noticed Riley was already winded. Sadly Amorite didn't have a car around here, after all he lived just a couple of blocks away and he had wanted to walk. "No car but I got a place we can hide out for awhile..." Amorite said as he motioned for Riley to follow him down the street, "Still though, that was pretty cool. Were you following those guys or something? How did you know they were going to strike?"
Amorite was asking dozens of questions and yet he still didn't even know this guy's name. Or who he was working for... everyone in this city worked for SOMEONE. He turned on his heels towards the smaller man and held out his hand to shake, "By the way, my name is Amorite. You got a name or shall I call you the Masked-Crusader?"

From the distance a loud, sort of thunderous booming sound came rushing towards them followed by a thick cloud of dust. Kole in his fantastic,. amazing beat up old mini-van came zooming towards them until he came to a screeching halt, a pitch so loud it threatened to break the glass windows near by. Waiting a minute for the dust to settle before he rolled down his window, sporting a pair of shades --even though it is dusk-- and blasting music from his radio, Kole leaned up and out, resting an elbow on the window sill, he flashed a grin and turned his car off.
"AHHH there you are!" Kole shouted, opening up his door wide enough to nearly break it and hopping out. He looked rather like a child as he stood out, being only 5'6 standing around the rest of them and his big, rusty mini-van. "I have been looking EVERYWHERE FOR---Oh, wait. What is that expression behind that mask? Shite--You, you're not still mad about your last job, are you? I told you 'it maybe, possible, kinda, sort of, tiny bit of a trap..' Didn't I? Didn't I?" Kole said, looking towards Amorite for confirmation before nodding and looking back at Riley.
"Well anyway. Stop being so tactless and introduce me to your friend, eh? Or---" Kole looked at Amorite and then at Riley, leaning closer to the masked fella he put a hand over his mouth and whispered "Or are you going to kill him?" His eyes darted to Amorite curiously.

"Of course i have a name... Wait is that a car?... OH- MOVE FASTER" as fast at Riley would have liked to move he could not outrun that junked up mini-van, Within a few seconds it was right next to them and that red-headed idiot was blabbering about something to do with a trap.
Dodging the question of if he would kill Amorite as he didn't know yet. Riley kept moving, "What do you want Kole?" he said with a annoyed tone in his voice, Riley didn't stop moving to listen to him, The last thing he wanted was to be here when the police came. Getting chased the police in the dark is hardly a fun time. His eyes would dart from street to street, he was sure the cops would be here any minute.

Kole placed a hand over his heart, gasping with a look of shock. "Well can't I just seek out a friend?" He shook his head and the gave up the joke. "I have a job for you." He respond in all seriousness, folding his arms over his chest. He eyed Amorite once again and cocked his head to the side. "What are you up too anyway...?" Kole started to ask before suddenly becoming of his surroundings.
"ARE YOU SMASHING PICKLE JARS? Are you a banana-lobbyists?!" He looked absolutely horror-struck, truly terrified at that come out. He took a few steps back with widen eyes and glance at both of them. "True evil they are." He muttered and spat off to the side. "Shame to them, shame to their families' and shame to their families' banana trees."

Amorite thought for a moment this was going to be some weird guy trying to kidnap them but - it seemed - that this weird red headed guy seemed to know Riley. He became increasingly uncomfortable when Kole mentioned something about killing him and Riley didn't say NO. Whatever it was, Amorite seemed to have figured out who Riley's boss was...
"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Amorite said raising his hand up, "What does this have to do with those banana lobbyists and what exactly do you know of them!?" Amorite's main sworn enemy; the rich corporate filth that spent every waking second trying to keep his pickle-split business down. Deciding it was time Amorite knew exactly who these men were, the tall Rebel glanced between the two before making his demand. "What's going on here. Who are you guys?"

Riley looks at Amorite puzzled, "Do you really want to wait around for the police to come lock us up and throw us in gods know where?". He kept moving to his car "I'm not a banana lobbyist if that's what your wondering."
He unlocked his car and put his weapon and mask away in the trunk. "Okay smokey,You have two choices here. Come with me and not get arrested. Or stay here and get locked up. Personally I don't care what happens to Kole, However i would not like to lose another person from Skotadi Tribe. Kole if you want to come along follow me in your van".

"Whoa.... nice car, man." Amorite smirked as they walked over towards his car. Honestly Amorite didn't know who these guys were but they had him interested... and to be truthful he didn't want to go back to the apartment yet. He just couldn't be there right now, the very idea filled him with a bit of stress. So as dangerous as it seemed climbing into a car with a complete stranger Amorite convinced himself that if things got weird he could just smoke himself out of there.
"Well when you put it like that I guess I have no choice," Amorite said with a nod as he opened up the passenger door, "Goin' for a ride with the Masked-Crusader here, yeah!"
