"You want pizza? Okay lets get us a nice cheese pizza!"
I honestly had no clue what she just said, but I was hungry so...I took the girl's hand and led her through the twisting alleys. Backtracking the way I came through to recall some of the safe spots Kree taught me the last time I met her, twisting and turning through the alleys I pushed tarps into our way and covered things with wood boards as I ran. Thinking of anything to discuss as I ran past various buildings and whatnot.
"So I know I said cheese, but cheese is like a universal variant. We have pepperoni, mushroom, sausage, bacon, you name it they could put it on a pizza. Pizza's universal like that."

Outside of the fight that was going on, a man in a red trench coat and a red hat was looking though a scope. Javier Xander, a bounty hunter, came here looking for a small bounty, but when the fight broke out, he got up high to look at what the fight was about. When he pulled out his scope, he realized some of their faces from the bounty board. One faces stuck out. One was Connor, a man that he tried to capture once before but vanished. "You..." Javier whispered to himself, as he got ready to jump in a little later after these people worn themselves out.

The girl didn't care to answer much of Connor's questions as she was far to busy running and trying to keep up with the older man. A child who had really not run before, let alone stand for more than two minutes, was quickly running out of breath. Yet she recognized that sign on the mercenaries coat, she could remember where she had seen it before but it inspired a great fear in her.
Meanwhile, Amorite had pulled himself up from the ground, "Hit twice and I never saw it coming... come on Amorite, focus..." He took in a great breath of air before directing his attention to the fighting. This girl must have been some sort of government agent, the way she was fighting was incredible! As the mercenary turned to kick Hana off her feet Amorite acted, using his magic to burst into a fury of hot smoke, rushing right at her in a condensed ball that posed no threat to anyone by his enemy. Amorite hoped she was too distracted to notice him coming...

"damnit." Hana curses just as she turns to catch Lee's bullets firing across the field aiming at Adela and possible her. Who knows what that old man sees? His eye sight could be gone for all she could care. Nonetheless now she had to avoid both Lee's bullets and Adela she sprinted in a zing-zag pattern, ramming head on with Adela "So you admit it!" Hana cried upon in packed as she blocked Adela's kick with her arm. "You are working for someone." Hana took a swung with her sword towards Adela's crude face, hoping to wipe out the side of her cheek. Meanwhile in mid swing, Hana caught out of the corner of her eye Amorite pretty messed up right behind Adela. Hana felt a bit happy. This chick was cornered now.

As her kick was blocked, Adela looked up just in time to see Hana's blade heading in the direction of her face, her peripheral vision also caught sight of the cloud of smoke that was Amorite moving towards her. With a slight grimace, she attempted to roll away from the pair of them, deciding that if she had to take one hit, she'd rather it be the blunter attack of Amorite rather than the sharp blade of Hana. The ice just grazed across her face as Amorite's attack carried her away from the battle. Adela quickly pulled at the triggers at her waist, a grappling hook launched up and grabbed onto the lip of a rooftop, and with the pull of the second trigger, Adela was dragged away from the combat and up onto the rooftop from which she looked down at the scene below her.
The girl was gone.
"Oh dear." Adela muttered.
"Another time!" She called down, her gaze looking around to try and find where the girl may have gone. "I have business to attend to."
With that, she leaped from the rooftop and using the Reel System, soared away down the alleyways of The Lost Path. She could not let that girl escape.

"Yeah and don't come back, bitch!" Amorite laughed as the girl ran away. Amorite turned backwards to the rest of the group, smiling wide while yelling, "She had no idea what she was getting into, we destroyed her, right-"
He blinked a couple of times.
"Guys. Where's the kid?"

Hana hit air. Literally. Which meant that only reasonable reaction was her thrown off by her own weapon and getting jerked down towards the ground. She grumbled her with up, watching her blade sunk into the ground. Hana mutters something under her breath along the lines of the chick being chicken, running away right before she got to finish her off, and how to expect hana to kill her own sight the next time.Hana rubbed her arm, sore from the jerk of the weight of her own blade backfiring on her. She glared up at the roof top where Adela disappeared too before turning the glare on Amorite.
Stepping over the mud pile that once was her sword Hana half growled " That is a good question. Where is the girl, Amorite?" Her eyes blazed in the moonlight with a look about ready to kill. Her fists clenched at her sides as she mentally talked herself down out of her rage. She's never felt a battle unfinished with her opponent not laying heartbeat-less on the ground. Hana blames Amorite for being so clueless, after all he was suppose to be looking out for her.

Amorite has seen those eyes before, the eyes of a lady about to rip one's head off. Amorite took a couple of steps behind Lee before addressing the demon that stood before them, "Don't blame me, I was doing the best I could!"
Amorite cringed a bit. Could that mercenary have gotten the girl with one of her freaky gadgets? He wouldn't let the poor girl be taken! "I-I'll get her back!" Amorite hissed before bursting into a puff of smoke, flying upwards into the air, following swiftly behind that mercenary.

"Amorite Damn it don't go off on your-!" yelling was useless, by now Amorite was out of earshot and this girl, whoever the hell she was was is to strong for Amorite to battle one on one. The mercenary would be going for the girl, and Amorite was following her so that means I was following them, I used Amorites smoke trail to keep track of them from the ground floor the damned buildings made this task quite difficult, to boot I was barely keeping up with them my legs ached, and I was running out of breath, shit I'm really am getting old.

"you better." Hana mutters and fixes her gloves. She eyes Lee, who looks wore and tired out already. "Well , old man, we can either go after him and save his butt again, or we can go find Kri. Up to you." Hana slid down and rested on her knees for a moment, feeling suddenly a dire need for a warm bed to rest in herself. The wind billowed around her, making the trees sway to the breeze with the rattling of their leafs meanwhile the moonlight shined on like a steady beckon through and through. She's never been afraid of the dark, in fact she's more or less lived in the dark her whole life. the most wildest of animals come out at night, sneaking prey without any warning. She felt at home with the dark, but even now she could admit she wished for a nice shack to house up in and sleep for the rest of the night.

Amorite following her was the least of Adela's worries. Zipping through the alleyways, she was certain that her speed and pace would soon help her catch up with the girl and anyone whom had attempted to take her from Adela... Her cool nature prevented the fires of frustration and irritation from building up in her gut, and also allowed her to move with speed without focusing on the cold lashing of the rain against her face now that she no longer had her hooded cloak. She should be getting closer now, right..?
Wrong.
She suddenly felt heavy, unusually so, even with the Reel System at her waist she felt like she was going slower than usual... Then the ground was suddenly racing towards her.
Adela hit the ground hard and rolled for a few moments before skidding to a halt. Whatever could have dragged her down to the floor like that?! Instinctively, she went to check the Reel System, to make sure that everything was still there and in working order, that no cylinders had been punctured and that no gas was leaking out. She noticed that she actually struggled to lift her arm before suddenly everything was normal again. Adela picked herself up and then looked ahead... So, that was why.
A man was stood before her, one arm bandaged up in a sling, the other one held out towards her. He had a red and blue headscarf which was billowing behind him in the wind and rain whilst his breathing appeared ragged and heavy. Kri was not the sort to use magic on a regular basis and even the simple act of initiating his powers had left him tired. Plus, there was the downside of always being watched...
They'd be coming now.
In the Financial District, Titan HQ, Security Division
A soldier was sat in front of a bank of screens, lazily flicking through a newspaper as a small warning pop-up suddenly appeared, flashing urgently to garner his attention. After a moment of trying to ignore it as nothing more than a glitch, the guard decided to take a look, and his eyes widened as he realized just what it was he was looking at.
"I have a lock..." He muttered, before suddenly pressing down on an alarm, speaking into a comm system.
"I have a lock! The Lost Path! Go!"
Soldiers rushed to trucks, and soon sped off in the direction of The Lost Path... It wouldn't be long before they arrived.
In the distance, a roar of pure pain could be heard... The Stalker...

I could hear the roar from the distance, the girl and I had managed to clear out of the alleys and move across the streets just as a bunch of trucks showed up. I shielded the girl with my coat to hide her from vision, but we didn't keep running not yet. We paused for a moment behind some produce stands as the soldiers poured out, was it all for this girl? Who the hell was she? The last time I met her the girl amplified my regeneration powers to heal every wound, I couldn't feel it now but that was probably a good thing. I crouched low, keeping my eye on the soldiers coming out. I rubbed my chin and lowered down, looking at the girl to my right and sighing.
"What do you think...we shouldn't have ran?" I paused, "I'm not really one of those guys, but it's not like all of them are bad people...quite the opposite. If I wasn't concerned about who I was I'd probably join a cause or two but..."
I trailed off with a sigh, I spent so much time running I kind of forgot about the world around me.

Amorite formed on the otherside of the girl so that she was completely blocked off by the two. "Kri! I didn't know you had something like that!" Amorite grinned widely as his eyes focused on the mercenary. Suddenly there was a deep roar that made the hair on Amorite's neck stand, "Okay... what the hell was that?"
Meanwhile that poor little girl's day was just getting worse; she could see and recognize the armor on those soldiers. It made her frightened - it was THOSE people that had held her for so long. It was one of the few things she knew of this world and it scared her so deeply. She looked up at Connor who's words made little sense, she wanted to keep running. She made that wish apparent with the senseless whining she made, she was getting agitated and scared... Connor could feel the mana in the area growing.

She clearly felt otherwise, even though I knew this would be tough call to make. I looked around the area to see if I could find an escape route or a hide out or a...gun shop? There was a gun shop underneath what used to be an old apartment complex. It looked like the store was closed, but this was a perfect place to do both things. I guided the girl to the shop, where I broke into the side exit and went inside. These guns weren't anything fancy, but they would be good to keep an eye on everyone. I loaded up a gun bag full of ammunition and guns.
"Don't worry, we're gonna get someplace high up. Where they can't see us." I said, walking to the upstairs area, the doors were locked but it didn't take me long to get in. Thank god the place was empty, I made my promise to the girl clear and we walked up to the highest room. I walked in one of the rooms and sat her on in the bed, moving to the window with the rifles and used the scope to keep an eye on everyone.
"They can't see us from up here don't worry, we're up among the clouds," I said, hoping to assure her somewhat as I tracked the others through the scope. I could see Amorite and Kri I think, when I moved my scope to the side though...I could see something headed their way, something big.

"If I'm being honest..." Kri breathed between sharp intakes of oxygen. "I wasn't entirely sure if I had it myself." When Amorite questioned the roar in the distance, Kri could already feel his bandaged arm starting to twinge and itch. Dammit, he had hoped that he would only attract the attention of the common soldiers and not The Stalker. He looked across at Amorite and gave him a sharp nod.
"We need to find the girl and get the hell out of here now. I know what that was and let me tell you, we don't want to be here when it gets here..." Using so many words whilst he was so tired was strenuous, especially when he was keeping an eye on the mercenary stood between him and Amorite who was seemingly glowering daggers in their direction. Kri was going on the bluff that if she moved, he could simply pull her down again, but truth be told, he couldn't. If she tried to take off, he didn't have the energy to stop her, not without the little girl amplifying his powers.
