Economic level is measured by a simple five star system.
One Star - Poverty
Two Star - Low Wealth
Three Star - Medium Wealth
Five Star - Affluent
Six Star - High, wide-spread Wealth
Continent of Proti
1 – Fotia: Forty years before it was colonized by the Empire, this country was once part of a much larger country known as Unperal. Kafsi, Proti and Katio is what remains of the once powerful country. Mostly populated by Dwarves, this colony has wide-spread poverty – mostly caused by poor central planning and a lack of valuable resources in the area. The single largest employment are fisheries. *
2 – Kafsi: Tucked up between Fotia and Katio, this poverty-stricken country relies heavily on Tourism from neighboring Katio for its economic well-being. *
3- Katio: This colony has a fair amount of wealth – mostly concentrated in its capitol – which has managed to trickle down to its citizens in a way that puts them above their neighbors. It has a central military industrial that is put to good use in fighting the various bandits bleeding out from the failed states and most recently the dwarvian warriors of Katio was shipped overseas to fight what is now known as the Land of the Independent. **
4- The Kingdom of Fadl
: 'Land of magic and the savage's last domain' was what this Kingdom was called long ago during the reign of the Dwarven Empire. This remark is due to the Fadl Kingdom having one of the last bastions of the Wyverns – and on rare occasion, Dragons. Its proximity puts it within reach of Drakos Nisi and the lands are far plentiful, which has occasional drawn the attempt migration of Dragons to the area. The last one to attempt migration was many decades ago and was hunted down by locals and Ellusian military.
In addition to the occasional Dragon is the abundant of unusual creatures. For instance the Great-Elephants (about twice as large as those who venture Proti). There are immense snakes that roam the cities streets, leaving people alone so long as people leave it alone and the Kingdom is rich in queer minerals such as oil and fossil fuels (sources of energy deemed expensive and dirty).
The actual Kingdom of Fadl belonged to the greater Principality of Ilham once during the rule of the Dwarven Empire. Before the Dwarven Empire came along they were a set of tribes with roughly four different ethnic groups. Located in the Northern part of Proti the area was largely human populated until the Dwarven Empire subjugated the lands and encouraged Dwarves to colonize the lands. The two subcontinents of Ilham was given to the Dwarven Emperor's beloved nephew where it was held under the family's power until the Dwarven Empire fell.
The subcontinent would never have stable government that lasted for more than a century until the Ellusian Empire arrived and used force to create a stable government. They left an Ellusian Lord in charge for many years until the throne passed to an ancient tribal family that rules to this day.
The Kingdom has overseen a great deal of growth within their country. Many port cities benefit from the cross trade between Zoi, Proti and Ellusia. Their military is largely weak and they rely on the Ellusian Army for protection from other countries.
The Kingdom's relation with Proti is very framed due to the fact the continent follows what is called a 'heretic' following of the Stone Heart religion. They have a centralized church which is directly against common belief.
The lack of mana wells within the area has caused the country to use alternative sources of power. They use fossil fuels to create electricity, meaning all of their cars are customized to run their source of energy and the pollution in the area is noticeably worse than many other parts in the world.
5 – Failed States: If you're not a bandit, pirate or thief then you're probably dead. This barren wasteland makes it hard to build a proper country and only the strong dare to live in it. Many rogue anti-empire states have carved out borders here and is a constant problem for the surrounding countries.
6 – Gonia: A fair economic circumstance for the mostly- drawven population. They are a trading nation, funneling goods from the continent of Zoi to various areas in northern Ellusia. **
7 – Do'll: Most of its big cities are tucked up against the river that flows through the country, the rest of the country is a dessert that has only a small population count. **
8 – Fearalee: A very populated and fairly wealthy country that controls the majority of the lake and the only mana stream in the continent. Heavy investments from other countries – mostly coming from the giant Titan Inc. - have enriched the lives of those living here and has caused something of a migration from neighboring countries. This colony of the Empire is likely to become the wealthiest in the region and a giant in energy with the leading companies being Mana Power-systems and Superior Power (all sub companies owned by Titan.) ***
9 - Copper Land: During the bronze age this colony was incredibly rich and powerful, mining up countless veins of copper. During the height of its prosperity, giant cities with beautiful copper buildings were constructed. But now with its poor economic stance, the once great cities is a greenish color, perhaps a perfect testament to their fall. *
10 – Golden Kingdom: This colony has great historical background, its capitol is where the original drawven empire existed thousands of years ago. And with the strong river and the rich gold mines that harbor inside its borders, great cities have been built both above and below ground. It is the main headquarters of the Ellusian Empire's activities in the continent. ***
11 – Silver Gulf: Despite it being a colony of the Empire, its political status could be more described by being a colony of the Golden Kingdom. The people of the Golden Kingdom directly elects three Senators – this unusual action has often led the Empire to simply consult the Golden Kingdom over matters in the Silver Gulf. The economic circumstance is pretty poor, wealth is highly centered in the mining centers in and around the capitol. **
12 – Tue: A very small population, with the largest town being only three-thousand, it's all hugged up against the coast. Despite the Empire's official ranking as being a poor state, the people live comfortable lives due to every town managing all of its prices and jobs. **
13 – The Lowlands: This is the greenest state in the entire continent, its tropical environment has led to a heavy fruit picking industry. Pay is low and the people suffer great health problems centered by the local insects that can leave dangerous deceases. *
14 – Barbaria: Smallest population in the continent and the Empire directly controls the government progress in this country. The population is small and condensed into various tribes. *
15 – Imperial Hold: Despite what the name implies, this country has been around for decades and actually refers to the dwarven empire that once existed. Their economy is fairly powerful and has a strong middle class that spans throughout the entire country, they had to implement heavy border security to try and keep the streaming refugees back. ***
16 – Floating City: A small set of islands right outside the continent holds the most powerful city in the region. Having a very strong economy, many investments flow out of this city and right into the surrounding countries. The Empire used this city has a springboard while colonizing the continent, it has benefited greatly by the infrastructure that the Empire invested in. ****
17 - The Seun Republic
: The Seun was an ethnic group of Dwarves that fled Proti in fear of prosecution by the Dwarven Empire. The reason being the Seun had fought to defend their land and their human brethren from the grasps of the slave-hungry Empire and when they lost the Seun were treated no better.
After the defeat at the hands of the Dwarven Empire, the Queen of the Seun (Queen Jadine) gathered her people into whatever ships they had and set sail off the coast, fleeing west into unpopulated subcontinent of Vastbry.
Seun and her people found a hostile environment, filled with large predators and nasty vegetation that seemed capable of swallowing people up. The forest was thick and trees large, having been untouched since Dragons left the continent by any Superior life, nature had entirely over taken it.
The writing of the Seun's history is a bit difficult to understand and there are some unrealistic stories of lizard-like humans that they fought and killed (no evidence to support such a claim) and how apparently Jadine saw the spirit of a great Dragon that led her to an ancient Dragon nest, the place where they finally settled down.
Stories aside, the Dwarven Empire would be content with expanding its reach throughout Proti without ever setting eyes of Vastbry for nearly a five decades. When the Dwarven Empire did come, however, they were met with the Seun who had become well adept to the hostile environment and used it to weaken the invading army. The greatest defeat the Dwarven Empire ever experienced was at the hands of the now very old Queen Jadine and her two sons.
The Seun had become a beacon for humans to escape slavery and soon the village sprouting up along this island became the most diverse area in Proti. Humans and Dwarves lived among equals throughout most of their history and when invading forces came – as they often did – the Seun would force them back into the sea.
Eventually, as the Ellusians started conquering Proti they looked for areas to set up trade posts for their ever growing conquests. They found it in Vastbry where the population mistakenly invited the Ellusians in, astounded by their warships and uniquely colored flags, the Seun people thought the Ellusians were 'beautiful people'. At first things went well, the Ellusians set up trade posts by the coast and funneled tons of raw equipment and soldiers through the port but the Seun became wary of their growing presence – and deceases they brought with them.
Soon as sweeping viruses killed countless Seun the 'beautiful Humans' became a curse, they believed to have been sent by some evil force to punish the good people. The clans in the area gathered up and demanded that the Ellusians leave, they responded by unleashing knights upon the nearby clans and killed countless Seun. The Ellusians established direct control of the area and soon the Seun became a vital colony of the Empire.
Continent of Zoi
18 – The City State of Thelotia. ******
19 - The Huli Republic
20 – Gia Makrozoia: It is one of the few independent countries in the world, first established by Imperial Ellusia's rival, the Republic of Southern Ellusia, it remained a center of conflict with its neighbors who were both colonies of the Empire. Up until the Republic collapsed, Gia Makrozoia was merely called the 'springboard colony'', but with its new found independence they adopted the name from their first Prime Minister.
Their economy has benefited greatly from the behemoth that is Thelotia and indeed, their energy is almost entirely supplied from their extensive resources in the field – which has been responsible for heavy debates in the country. ****
21 – Land of the Independent (L.O.T.I): Many years ago the LOTI broke free from the Empire's grasp and is now an independent country. Their culture and economy has drastically changed from this and most districts in the country are very isolated from each other. Before they broke free, they were mostly massive city states belonging to the Empire until they united to overthrow their masters – however, that alliance has had problems...
The central government is not powerful enough to solve disputes between cities and has had a hard time keeping them united. Their economy has suffered from such and the country is lagging behind in many fields they once controlled... ***
Continent of Ellusia
22 – The Ellusian Empire: The Ellusian Empire is the single largest entity on the planet, even the once powerful Dwarven Empire bares no resemblance to this massive titan. The government directly controls over 90% of the Ellusian continent and controls easily about another 95% of the world through colonies.
With over 18 different ethnic minorities, the government has struggled to keep order inside its wide borders and has found that by making the local governments feel like they have great influence has calmed what could be great civil strife. The government has an elective branch – mostly in local government – but the Emperor/Empress makes the final call on all major decisions. With the vast network of colonies around the world, there is a council known as 'Innerstate Managers' that look over colonial affairs, they are easily some of the most powerful people in the world. Controversially, many of the councilman are born within the Ellusian Empire (because they don't see Dwarves as part of the Superior race, so no Dwarves are picked to represent their country in the council.), these men and women have the power to veto any law within the colony's countries. While they intelligently avoid vetoing any controversial laws within a colony, they mostly focus on vetoing unfair taxes and tariffs.
The Empire pushes for complete loyalty from their subjects, which has been tested greatly with the recent economic downturn that has threatened many parts of their vast empire, but their colonies have shown remarkable resilience.
With no rival superpower to stop any of the Empire's movements, they have brought in an age of great change. Many ancient cultures have been pushed aside or erased completely for the 'take what you can' culture that the Empire has made. Despite the warnings from critical analysts and the spiteful wishes from the world's youth, the Empire still reigns supreme. ******
23 – Bandalsee: This is a pretty small country with fair economic circumstances, and they benefited greatly from the Empire. They have a large population of Southern Ellusians which was widely suppressed in previous centuries when the Northern Empire (now the Ellusian Empire) took rule over the south. ***
23 (2) – Crossland: Once part of the greater Southern Ellusian country, this country has great resentment towards their ruling masters and letting them govern themselves as a colony has only fueled the urge to be independent. This country has one of the largest amount of Ellusian troops in it. **
24 – Highlands: Named because this country occupies the highest point in the world. Its great mountains and fields have led to a large boom in tourism that has fueled their economic engine. They are very fine with their country being a colony of the Empire and every year when the Imperial family visits large festivals are thrown. ***
25 – Outer Ellusia:The country is small, the people are poor and highly malnourished. The average Outer Ellusian is four inches smaller then their Imperial counterparts. With the small population the Empire has been robbing these people blind of their vast mineral wealth, there isn't much hope for people here... *
26 – Reullsia (land of the horse gods): This country once ruled over all of Southern Ellusia, even after the collapse they still maintain a huge amount of patriotism and honor of their past. The finest horses in the world are bred here, every fourteen year old male is given a horse and is taught how to fight – but with new technology has badly ruined their financial institution and even their culture. In the large cities there is a growing number of people who are rejecting their 'given right' and paving a new path for themselves, their elders accuse them of being too 'Imperial' in their ways. ***
27 – Irohelm: Ironhelm was part of Reullsian for as long as history can tell, so when the Empire granted them separate colonial rule this country has struggled to find a national identity, a frustrated Prime Minister has started up several programs to make 'Iron towers' over their city, these huge beasts will house political building and powerful companies from around the world.
Titan inc. has purchased the rights to the largest tower in their country which will house their entire operations in southern Ellusian. ***
Ellusia Sea
28 – Fate Island Chain: This island chain holds the largest Ellusian fleet, the 3rd, and has highly benefited from the existence of the massive ports. The living standards are high and the natives live in what has been called the 'perfect society'. However, deep inside the forest of the smaller island 'Ielus', there is a small but very violent anti-Empire group fighting to drive the Empire out. These people are mostly mana users and because of the violent tactics used it has caused mana users to be discriminated around the world. ***
29 – Sealine dreams: Although the Empire lists them as having low living standards, the inhabitants are among the happiest in the world. They don't have any major driving forces for their economy and live mostly in a backwards lifestyle, but the society is stable and governed by elders. *
30 - Island Chain of Elvia ( The Holy Elven Principality) - the birth place of the Elves. Much of the history and government workings are unknown to Man, what they learn from those who left the islands is that Elves believe themselves to be servants of their lord, and thus the islands are a holy land. They say, millions of years ago, the islands was once an entire continent, but the Elves foolishly let strangers in - they defiled the area around the mana well and their lord punished them by sinking the land.
Scientists link this to the end of the ice age millions of years ago, but the elves seem to believe that they were punished. No Man has ever seen what is reported to be the largest mana well in the world (center island).
Their economy and government system are unknown, but it would appear Elves do not involve themselves in the consumer culture that Men and Dwarves do, so the land is suspected to be very well preserved and their living standard very high.
The Twin Continents:
31: Edáfi̱ - This country is the melting pot of the Twin Continents. Once home to eleven mighty kingdoms strung together under a small Empire it was collapsed after a trade dispute between the Ellusian Empire lead to a forceful opening of their ports and the splitting of the kingdoms. The Kingdoms became Republics with Ellusians placed in to oversee them, not officially a colony of the Empire the distance between the two continents made them far more independent.
Today they stand as a powerful, fast growing, independent Republic where 1/3rd of the population is Ellusian (more precisely, Reullsians) while the majority still remains Menshen.
Edáfi̱ is the fastest growing country in the world.
32: Zerstörung – Often, countries on the Twin Continent claim themselves to be the 'Herald of the Menshen', the true leaders of society. Two countries that fight over it the most is the country of Zerstörung and Edáfi̱
33: Höchste - is one of the largest trading hubs in the continent, within perfect proximity to all major continents they funnel goods through their ports, creating lucrative trading companies that have left their imprint all across the globe. Höchste per capita income is almost twice the median of nearby Menshen countries. Their capital, Glänzend, is sometimes known as the 'Thelotia of the South' and is the fourth richest city in the world.
Höchste has a monarchy but is largely run by the President that is popularly elected. Their navy makes up the bulk of their armed forces with a Marine Corp that has often trained with their Ellusian counterparts.
34: Erste – Another one of the Republics that hug the channel, Erste is a rather complicated country with vastly independent city states and a constitution that gives a great deal of power to individual cities and towns (the Land of the Independent was heavily inspired off Erste's way of governing when they wrote their constitution). Given this, many Mayors are more powerful than their National Assembly and (mostly) powerless Monarchy.
35: Kälte: The Menshen here are used to long winters and constant invasion from the Bol'shoy. In modern history things are a bit more peaceful between the two countries but the people of Kälte have a deep fear of a return of Bol'shoy aggression. Bol'shoy occupation has been limited to minor raids to years of occupation and heavy expenditures in Kälte's military has shown they're not interested in facing further occupation.
36: Geburt – Geburt is one of the three holy lands within the continent. It was believed that the three main holy lands was where the Menshen were born. The lands are bare, spotted by hills and increasingly colder the more south you go. Ancient Menshen lore claims that a pack of lions drank from a sacred spring and that spring imbued the lions with intelligence and power, thus beginning the birth of the Menshen. Not many people live in these lands and most places are either ruins or churches. The other Menshen nations vow to protect the lands from any sort of outside threat.
37: Heilig – Heilig is one of the three holy lands within the continent. Heilig has ancient ruins that date back to the first declared 'Herald of the Menshen' when Kaizer Leonhard carved out a great Kingdom, driving away 'beasts of darkness' with his army. Kaizer Leonhard is often pictured as a large, muscular man with a lions head (some legends say his wife was a lion and he rode her into battle, but like a great deal of the Menshen's history, these are just stories). Heilig has a strong population that still live in close proximity to the old ruins. The country has had a great deal of problems with militants who often seize the ancient ruins and declare themselves the new Herald of the Menshen.
38: Altes - the Altes is the last of the holy lands and the birth place of Kaizer Leonhard. His tomb – long sacked – was here. For many centuries rulers of other Menshen nations would travel to the Kaizer's tomb to pay respect, only then were those rulers seen as legitimate.
39: Outside of the three Republics that hug the Small Sea there are numerous city states in the most south land of the continent that are operate in almost a tribal mentality. They are placed apart from the three Republics because while some practice forms of Democracy most of them are ruled by a dictator.
City State of Lang
City State of Morgengrauen
City State of Zu
City State of Dunkeln
City State of Weiterleiten
City State of Anfang
City State of Scharf
City State of Gefallenen
40: The Winter-Imperium
- The Menshen believe in a tight bond within their race. Ethnic groups all across the main continent are closely connected by an idea of close security. There is, however, one group of Menshen that are often left out of this. The Menshen that left the home land many centuries ago for a new life in the 'Winter Continent'. These Menshen, sometimes simply called the Winter-Menshen, are normally looked at as less than equal.
The country is ruled by something akin to an Empire and is seated by a High Kaizer. Seated on the so called Winter Throne, he rules a string of tribal villages along the Eis continent. Not very heavily populated in comparison to other Menshen nations, the so called High Kaizer is often laughed at by other Menshen for its 'weakness'.
They do wield a powerful force, however. Large mammoths roam these parts as well of the Winter Lion, an albino Lion that with dark red eyes. One of the largest mana wells in the nearby area is said to be deep within this continent and the people there guard it dearly.

42: Drakos Nisi
The Land of the Eternal Winter:
A land of ice and snow, this region is hostile to all but the most fit life. Nobody truly knows what is in the lands and exploration teams have never returned. There are rumors, mere whispers, that over the immense ice there are other continents. These are merely whispers of sailors and uninformed people. There is no true evidence that there is any continents beyond our own.
Region of Proti
Northern Proti
The Reach – A very tropical setting with great palm trees that can stretch great distances into the air. The further into the Reach you go the more it becomes dry and hostile. The coastline is populated with beautiful beaches and great fisheries that supply about a third of all fish consumed.
Amani– The most populous ethnic group that calls this region their birthplace. This ethnic group of Dwarves tend to have smaller beards and are two inches taller than most others, on average.
Arija – The second largest in the region, they are closely related to the Amani except that their eyes are noticeably smaller. History has kept these two ethnic groups close together.
Maso – They are often found near the coastline, this ethnic group of Dwarves have long been suppressed by the Amani and Arija. Their population is far smaller and there is great racial tension between them.
Reach – A ethnic group that falls under the category of Man, they can find links back to the first two ethnic groups of humans that lived on Proti long ago.
The Path. - Mostly a region of sand dunes, very little presence of Superior. The largest city lies in what is classified as the Failed States, it is a coastal city that acts as a pirate base. Some of the most violent criminals in the world call this region their home.
Ryez - The darkest of all Dwarves, they have evolved to survive in the harsh region of The Path. It is believed their bones are thick due to the fact they evolved in a region which was lacking in rich resources, water and food can be hard to come by. For many centuries mushrooms that grew beneath the sand acted as their main source for food.
Lupeca – The Man equivalent of the Ryez they're at least a couple centuries younger than their Dwarven counter parts. Closely related to the human ethnic group of Reach, they instead settled in the Path instead of moving on into the region of Reach.
The Eye – The Eye has the single largest water source in the entire region, a massive lake that flows water out into the ocean from all sides of the continent. The largest cities are by the river along with immense farms that are fueled by the water and the presence of a major mana wells. Outside the river areas are mostly dry but not nearly as much as The Path, with more mountains than sand.
Lōka - The most populous ethnic group, they are the primary ruling class of the countries located in the region. On average they are far more healthier than most Dwarves due to their acces to the Proti river.
Phūla- These Dwarves tend to be the tallest of Dwarves, it is thought that the ancient ancestors frequently mated with humans and scientists have been able to confirm this, which is explains why the Phūla resemble humans far more than other Dwarf kind. They are mana users by bloodline, being able to use their ability to shape certain minerals to how they wish it to look, during the Golden Kingdom's reign they used the Fal to help construct their massive cities.
Śaktiśālī – A small group of Dwarves that live in the more southern parts of the region, usually away from the river and isolated in mountains.
Tu'clu – A rival to the See, leading warlords of these ethnic groups have terrorized the See for decades, robbing and destroying everything they have while their overlords, the Heave, do nothing.
Central Proti
Culture: Central Protian culture is the largest and most influential among the Dwarven cultures. The Central region gave birth to the Dwarven Empire and its influences are still felt across much of Proti. Stemming from the Golbahar ethnic group, the culture is built heavily upon religion and rule of law.
Golbahar were taught three things when they were young - 'to wield a blade, to dig for gold and to never lie'. In fact the truth was held so dearly in their culture that within the Dwarven Empire to lie was sometimes dealt with execution. Those old lessons often resonate within the culture as no other group puts as much weight in the truth. The common myth that all Dwarves are obsessed with gold stems from the Golbahar's love for it, gold was so rich and plentiful within the area that it was very common for furniture and houses to be gilded with it. Families are often very large, similar to Ellusians in the fact there can be many generations living under one roof.
The rule of law is held very sacred but many people see it as being too harsh at times, even Ellusians see some punishments as going too far. Thieving might lose you a finger or a toe while rape could get you castrated. They don't believe in prisoner rehabilitation and usually a swift, brutal punishment and a send off is done rather than time in prison.
Stereotypes - Hairy, unintelligent, gold obsessed and constantly plotting the end of the Ellusian Empire. Ellusians often call them the 'unseated Kings' in reference to the Dwarven Empire.
Language: Dajiki (Persian. Sometimes known 'High Dwarven' or 'The Fire') – spoken primary in Central Proti, Dajiki was the language of the Dwarven Empire and thus many languages have taken aspects of this influential language. It is the most widely spoken language in Proti and one of the few Dwarven languages recognized in the Empire of Ellusia (products are often labeled with this language).
The Arc – Large mountains populate this region, it was traditionally looked at as the splitting sections between the North and South Proti. Rich in minerals, most of the large ancient cities were built with mines from this region.
Su flere – These mountain Dwarves have formed large communities and represent a more civilized area of the region. They have much lighter skins compared to most Dwarves and they remain one of the few ethnic groups that have the ability to use mana – geomancy, the ability to move rocks have given them the ability to carve into the mountains, ensuring their prosperity.
Coce – A mountain people that sparsely populate the region, most of them can be found in the east side of the region.
The King – A area of rich resources and plentiful land, it was geologically destined to have the capability to grow an empire.
Golbahar – The most populous Dwarve population in the world, the Golbahar once ruled the entire continent with an iron fist that eventually led to their own doom. They are rather large Dwarves, muscular and extremely hairy.
Heralds – Humans that lived under the Golbahar rule for many centuries, now they represent first class citizens within the countries. Often picked to represent the countries within the Inner State Managers.
Southern Proti
The Lost – A rather dry, mountainous area with very little resources to offer.
Barbialies – The largest ethnic group in the region, but by no standards are they a large group. The region is widely populated with tribes that are extremely isolated.
The Found - Tropical, they have large forests that expand a great deal of land that expands far into The Great.
Tu Kal – Compared to the Barbialies they are very similar, history has kept these people together.
The Great – Very tropical with vast forests and water reserves
Horn – They have significant ties to the Master, perhaps driven by their close appearances, the two have a deep seeded respect for each other.
Spear – This ethnic group has a deep history of being warriors, but rarely for themselves. They have fought in almost every major war to ever occur on Proti, some say they have a genetic impulse for fighting.
Lead – Tensions between the Horn and the Lead are great, until the Masters arrived to aid the Horn the region was almost always in deep violence. Still, even today tensions between the two are great.
Outer Proti
The Paradise – A couple of islands chained together; they're tropical, low humidity and stands in perfect position of the continent. It is a little slice of heaven.
Catch – The only region in Proti that has a majority of humans, the Paradise was inhabited centuries ago when humans were running from the rule of the Dwarves. It has remained a predominantly human region.
