"I couldn't even tell if you were telling the truth..." Amorite stared at Lee with blank, unchanging eyes before finally clapping his hands together, "Besides, we're lost anyway. How much worse could it possibly get?"
He turned back to Connor and smiled, "Lead the way, man!"

"Alright, judging from the way the floral is going to the..." I stopped, licking my finger and held it up to feel the wind. "...nonexistent wind in this forest I say the path to exit is...over here!"
I took a few steps forward when I hear a noise, a snap like noise that caused me to stop, turn and clear my throat. "Okay guys...what you are about to see is kind of embarrassing...please don't put too much blame on me-"
Then as I feared the trap set and the rope hoisted me up into the air.
"-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!"

Amorite watched with wide eyes as Connor was quickly swept up into the tree line. Amorite wasn't able to act in time to help, for they were quickly ambushed by a group of people shrouded in black cloaks, who held crude looking blades and decade old guns in their hands. With the deadly weaponry pointed straight at the two, Amorite could only hold his hand up into the air in hopes they wouldn't gut them on the spot.
"Lee..." Amorite said in a sharp whisper. Hoping his older brother would do something to help them...

Rusty blades poked my skin and drew a small drop of blood, I reached for my gun but, that movement was halted when I felt the cold steel of a gun pressed against the back of my neck. In the seconds that fallowed millions of different escape plans played out in my head, none ended with use leaving alive, I gritted my teeth in contempt, then looked at Amorite, and raised my hands as well, there was only one option.
"Do whatever they tell you to." my brow furrowed, my nostrils flared.

The cloaked figures simply stared at the two for moment before one of them looked over at their ally, whispering a dialect that Amorite was unaware of out towards each other. The next action was sudden, two of the people struck both Lee and Amorite, knocking the two out cold. Connor only lasted about a minute more as the cut the rope and delivered the same cold strike to his head.
The next moments were a blur, being dragged along the forest with senseless wordings of their captors speaking back and forth with each other. Amorite knew who these people were, they were the feared tribe of Skotadi, even Thelotian authorities feared these people. They were dead, that much he was sure of. But what happened next was unexpected, as Amorite began to regain conscious everything felt... peaceful. He could see blue sky, taste the water in the air from a nearby stream and feeling the sun beating against his dark skin.
Amorite stirred awake, getting up a bit before holding his hand to his head in reaction to the sharp pain that surged through it. "Aghhh," he moaned as he glanced around, trying to take in the location they were at. He could see Skotadi in the distance, seemly surrounding this entire village they were at. The three of them were positioned right near a river that looked to stream straight into Zoi's eye, a fact that helped center Amorite to where they were.
Amorite glanced around, spotting Lee and Connor to his left he quickly shook his older brother, "Lee!" He hissed, "Wake up!"
"Give him time..." A voice suddenly spoke, causing Amorite to spark back in surprise at the voice of the lady. The person who stood right near the river was a tall lady with dark skin similar to Amorite, she was a stunning sight with her long braided hair and deep dark eyes that seemed to stare straight through the boy's head, "He was hit hard, one does not simply recover from a strike like that."
Amorite stared wide-eyed and instead continued to steadily poke at his brother, "Oh boy..." He gulped as he spotted three cloaked men standing in the distance, watching the four of them carefully.

My eyes opened slowly adjusting to the bright sun that was shining on my face, were we still in Skotadi? I could feel a bruise where they it me, I rubbed it softly as I sat up, then smacked away Amorites hand, "Knock it off," I rasped.
I turned my attention to what Amorite was staring at, off in the distance I could see three cloaked men, I got the impression we weren't here for good times, Instinctively, I reached towards my hip where I kept my gun only to find it gone, this tribe has gone through the paces, I rubbed my neck again.

Amorite eyes darted between the guards and the lady that stood in front of them. At the very least they hadn't been killed yet, which must have been a good sign. "Do not worry..." She assured, her Thelotian dialect was a bit broken but otherwise remarkably well spoken for a civilization that absolutely hated Thelotia, "You've got the blood of our people, we shall not harm our people."
Amorite couldn't help but blink, "O-Our people?" He always wondered which tribe he was related to, it appeared he was indeed related to the Skotadi tribe, "O-oh! Of course, yes!" He yelled nervously before glancing over at Connor and Lee, "P-Perhaps, sense we're all of the same kind, you could let us go...? O-Or maybe provide some food, or, you know... just... letting us go would be cool..."
"You're hungry?" She blinked, "Then come with me. We shall see to it our people and his servants are well fed."
Servants.... Amorite couldn't help but chuckle as she referred to his brother and newly found ally as his servants.

"Servants? Oh man not this thing, not the servants thing again!" I sighed, looking around. "Last time wasn't so far...well the escaping was fun, this though, was not."
I had my suspicions on why Amorite was not considered a servant, but I didn't really connect the dots at the time, I just remembered at the time being very curious as to what was going to happen...and very worried what would happen if someone tried to kill me, in his forest, with all this mana flowing through me.

Walking through the village was probably a stark reminder of To Chameno - the tents were squished uncomfortable close to each other, children playing in water that was neither clean or fit for human use while there were crops and crops of food growing in the most unusual places in sheer attempt to feed the population.
"What's happened here...?" Amorite gasped, confused at such a sight.
"Attacks have happened..." The lady spoke, "Warriors from a land known as Titan have attacked us over and over, our tribe has suffered greatly..."
"Titan...?" Amorite questioned, glancing back at Connor and Lee, wondering if they had any idea what they meant.

Titan? I've never heard of a land called Titan before, Hell, the only 'Titan' I know about is Titan Inc. But that wouldn't make any sense, they're a energy company not some army from a far off land, Maybe it's some Tribal thing.
I turned to Amorite, shrugged, "I don't know about any land called Titan," and humbly added, "Master."

"Oh, why thank you my loyal servant!" Amorite laughed, clearly having fun with this little ploy. They walked along the tribe until they reached a small tent, piled high with large round fruits that made the entire surrounding area smell sweet. The lady motioned for the three of them to help themselves, to which Amorite gladly grabbed two and quickly took two large bites out of it.
As Amorite stuffed himself with the fruit the lady happily watched them eat before clapping her hands together and speaking, "We're so glad you've returned to your family. We shall never make the mistake of letting you go again!"
... Amorite stopped shoving food in his mouth, managing to mutter out, "What did she say?" he said through a mouthful of food.

I suddenly felt less like a guest and more like a prisoner, the feeling in this room took a dramatic change from hospitality to hostility, I don't know weather it was because of her or me, probably me, but, I knew we needed to get out of here, fast.
So I pushed pass Amorite stepping up to her, and acted as polite as I could
"Listen we appreciate your hospitality, really, but, now we got to be going, so if you could be a gracious host and point us in direction of Thelotia, we'd be much obliged." I even added a fake smile to add to effect, but, each word a hint of animosity attached to it, and I don't think that bettered our chances of getting out of here.

I had my doubts of the man, Lee, would be able to convince the tribe to let us go...mostly because of his lack of dimples. So, I did what any guy had to do, I went behind Lee and slowly craned my head to see face the girl: flashing my full dimple smile as to sort of cover for Lee's lack of truthful smile.
"Two totally truthful smiles right here." I pointed at the both of us.

"Enough!" The woman hissed towards the two of them, "I have no words for false gods!" The guards behind them took a couple of tentative steps forward towards the group. The Lady didn't speak for a moment before she suddenly glanced over at the two, "The false gods must leave. Your presence desecrates our sacred land!"
The guards quickly stepped up, their presence rather intimating. Amorite stared between the group, "Uh... guys?" Amorite blinked as more guards stepped out to escort them away.

I raised my lip like a pissed off dog, I don't appreciate being threatened, that's my thing. I felt two guards creeping up on us, their intentions obvious, so I was going to jam my elbow into one of their faces then knock the other one out, however, my chance passed when more guards moved up.
"You wants us of this land? good, that's what we want too." I sneered at the woman, I gestured towards the two, "Come on Amorite, Dimples."
