Zahkriit got up and slung both rifles over his arm and quickly ran the steps, "Agent T'ula!" He shouted. He heard T'ula about to say something, but it was interrupted with his screams and the wood breaking. "Agent T'ula... You will not be forgotten" He said as he looked around for a place for them to jump. The building then made loud cracking noise at one part of it's base and started to lean, and fall towards the main building! Zahkriit looked around, and then grabbed Natalia's wrist. "We are going to jump onto that building! Follow me, and when I say Jump, jump and don't hesitate. Don't forget to do a roll." he said, as the fall began. He waited for the right moment, and he started to run down the floor and shouted "JUMP! NOW!". He jump onto the roof of the building. He rolled, and looked over at Natalia's most likely landing point to see if she made it.

The courtyard simply couldn't get cleared fast enough, more and more Collectors streamed out either in a effort to hold them back or simply because they had no clue what was going on, either way Icos wasn't enjoying the holdup. "Hold the courtyard." Icos hissed as he glanced towards the nearest door into the compound, "Tanya, you're with me." He slipped off the shotgun he had on his back and ran towards the door, using his weight he crashed right into it and knocked it straight off its hinges.
At this point Icos thought Tanya could handle herself, after seeing that sweet shot he figured the girl might be more used to these type of situations than he at first thought. Plus she had to look for her friend so he kinda needed her.
Inside was dark, with small lights at the end of the hall that gave only a way point for them to go. "Shit..." Icos hissed as he tried to grab his flashlight, before realizing it was lost when the explosion hit. "Shit!" He cursed a bit louder as he felt the sweat drip down his face. Thankfully he hadn't lost the shotgun which he slipped from his back and held steady to his side. "Watch out..." He warned as he crept forward.
-
Natalia didn't think that would work, in fact it shouldn't have but perhaps the Empress herself was watching out for them because it did work! Natalia landed on her feet with little grace and balance that she had to roll to keep from falling on her face. She pulled herself up and cursed at the fact she had to abandon her rifle to make the jump, leaving her simply with the revolver. "Wonderful." She hissed. "My spotter was there too." Her thoughts briefly drifted to the young IIA agent who lost his life before refocusing on the mission - a lot of people were dying, she needed to make sure the numbers only grew on the enemy's side.
"We need to get down there." She said as she checked the revolver's rounds. "Come along, we're wasting time here." Natalia hissed as she wiped the ash off her face.

The girl had paled considerably by this point, Tanya was unsure exactly how she actually felt inside but for now it was all like a familiar dream she'd had many times before. She was trained to shoot, she always knew she could but it was surreal for her to finally pick a moving, living target to shoot at. She herself had taken a life but in the heat of the battle it was so weird how quickly it seemed to be pushed away as she was ushered onto her next objective. Following right behind Icos they entered into the dark building and she blinked, sucking in a quick breath as the light at the end of the hall was seen but what would lurk in the shadows was what the real issue was, or what could possibly be triggered as they went by.
"Alright," she'd barely whispered, stepping carefully in her heels. It was hard to focus on what was around them when her eyes weren't fully adjusted yet but there really wasn't any time to waste. With every step she felt a touch more relaxed, feeling as though if they'd already past a point there was nothing that could have been missed. The lighting played funny games with her eyes, feeling as though she'd seen something swinging along the wall but it was probably the light fixture ahead, damn flimsy thing. Her grip tightened on her gun and she stepped closely behind the Imperial.

Zahkriit gave a nod as he took the clips, and the silencer off of the other's agent rifle that he had, and tossed it into the flaming building. He then cocked the gun to get it ready for combat and followed Nataila to a way into the building. "We need to regroup with Icos." Zahkriit said as he looked at the situation.

With every step Icos expected someone to jump out at them, from behind the chairs they passed or the nooks carved in the poorly made halls all had the possibility of carrying a shooter. Icos gripped the single shot shotgun tightly as they walked deeper into the hall with little noise in their steps even as the gunfire from the courtyard continued to echo into the area. Icos kept his unharmed ear towards the opening to listen to anything that might mean trouble, yet as they came to the end of the hall it became clear that there was nobody simply waiting for them to appear.
The hall did curve off into a room stacked full of papers that were being loaded into carts and hauled off to a incinerator. Icos bit his lip before giving a nod to Tanya, without her giving a 'okay' Icos popped out from the corner and fired off the shotgun - the bullet shredded a young man by the desk with a horrifying sound coupled with the flesh the bullets ripped off and the blood the leaked out. A high pitched scream from one of the Collectors were emitted as Icos threw the shotgun to the side, grabbed his revolver and put two bullets each in the other two Collectors that worked in the room.
The room's smell was overwhelmed with the smell of mana laced gunpowder and the iron smell of blood that you could almost taste. Shooting three unarmed people seemed like a horrendous tactic yet it was done all the time within the Imperial Marines as they moved through tense situations and couldn't bother taking their enemy hostage. Acts of horrid warfare that were not featured in the published version of the book that had been 'artistically' altered.
Icos stepped further into the room, looking around before taking a brief moment to reload his revolver. Past all the piles of paper there was a video set that featured cameras that watched various rooms - most of the cameras featured rooms filled with papers that were being carted out while others showed the battling in the courtyard and the flaming wreck that was the streets. Others seemed absolutely pointless, storage facilities that had large boxes stacked next to each other with large locks locking them.
--
Upon reaching the streets Natalia and Zahkriit moved slowly through the flaming streets, stepping past the dead Collectors and Agents that lined the streets, staining the streets with their blood or polluting the air as their flesh burned. Natalia brought her hand to her ears that were burning in pain, her nerves frayed from all the violent fighting as they approached the giant hole in the wall.
"Here we go..." She hissed as she climbed over the rubble and glanced into the courtyard where dozens of IIA Agents and Collectors were fighting. From above she could see the Collectors taking overwatch on the building, such an advantage would spell defeat for the IIA. "I'm heading up there." Natalia said lightly as she eyed the groove and holes within the walls. With a quick movement she bounded from her place and charged towards the wall, throwing herself upon it she dug her fingers into every small place they could grab onto and began pulling herself up - she really hoped Zahkriit would cover her because climbing this wall made her really exposed to gunfire.

Tanya wasn't sure if she should have let out a sigh of relief or worry more as they rounded the hall and had come into nothing along the way. The room they stepped into was amazing, all of the papers around them being she could only assume contained so much information about anything and everything at all and really put into perspective how large of an organization this really was. The only question she really had now was who was the dumber between herself and her father? Her reasons for stepping into this were for her friend, his reasons were...well, even she didn't know.
She'd seen the nod that Icos gave but was unable to respond before the man zipped in, quick and deliberate and somehow she could feel the twisting, sick feeling in her stomach as she watched the Collectors be ripped apart so easily. It was suppressed, however, with the idea that if she didn't stop to think about it until now then now wasn't the time to start as she slipped around the corner and made her appearance close by him, watching the entrance way they'd just come from and she whipped her head to look ahead in the room, taking note of the video feeds that were displayed none too far away.
"They really do watch everything, don't they? If they're this quick to panic and start destroying everything, do you think they'd do the same to the people they're holding?" she didn't want to ask, and yet couldn't help it.

Icos busied himself just glancing through the papers that had been piled - they were a collection of information concerning ordinary people, everything from their driver licences to a collection of receipts from their local drugstore. Pointless data for Icos, but astounding when considering the extent of what they must know. His attention shifted to Tanya as she spoke, which he gave a slow nod in agreement to her statement. "I suspect so." It was a horrible thing to think of but honestly it was the truth.
Glancing back at the monitors Icos studied slowly as the Collectors within them stopped piling papers and instead started pouring large cans of gas everywhere. Icos bit his lip as he watched this occur, "We've got to get moving." They would risk losing everything at this point, all the valuable information that could lead to bringing down this organization. While Icos didn't notice it, the boxes that were shown on the monitor were budging a little, as if people inside them were trying to kick their way free.
"Come along, we don't have much time to waste." Icos hadn't the foggiest clue where they would hold their prisoners, he supposed a basement would be an ideal place but even then they were just reaching. Perhaps it would be best if they split up? He wasn't sure Tanya was ready to be going alone, though.

She didn't know if she really expected him to answer differently, but she got the answer she not only figured but feared the most. The whole time until now she'd been trying to tell herself that Hoch was already dead, the pictures Icos had shown her earlier had been enough to convince her, though even now she worried more and all it did was make her realize that somewhere she really did have some kind of hope that he'd still be breathing. She had to get to him somehow. She didn't notice the boxes moving in the screens, though the idea that the place was going to go up in furious flames sickened her a bit as it was another obstacle that would take up more of their time to get through. Whatever information they could possibly salvage from all of this too would be ideally to keep intact as well.
"They really are getting desperate it looks like. This place is so big also," she started, looking back to Icos with a hardened look in her eyes that at the moment managed to overcome crippling fear but inside truly was fueled by panic herself, "which way? If they're planning on burning whole rooms like they are there there must be something they don't want us to find."

"They're burning down everything." Icos hissed, "They don't want us to get anything out of here." He thought very carefully about the next few moments, they really didn't have enough men or time to root through all the information being stored, which hurt Icos to the core that in the end they wouldn't really get anything useful out of this. Of course the blow they're delivering was good enough but he wanted some sort of special key that could lead to the fall the entire organization.
Didn't matter now, of course. He had promised they would look for her friend and at this point that was the most valid option. "This way." Icos motioned down the nearest hall which he hoped would lead him to the basement. They had blue prints of the building yet he was sure there were placed added that were not included on the blueprints. In the end he wasn't sure if they had any hope of evening finding a dungeon.
Icos and Tanya ran down the hallway where it became clear they were nearing the fire as the smell of smoke became evident and the light fog of it rolling against the ceiling started to show. "We search the best we can until it becomes too-" Suddenly the door was opened and smacked directly into Icos, pushing the man back and to the floor as three Collectors ran out. They hadn't realized who they hit at first, but as quickly as they did they reached for their weapons and directed it towards the two of them.
"Imperials!" They shouted, fear evident in the voices of these young individuals.
-
Meanwhile, Natalia had successfully pulled herself up at least three floors when the window's who edge she had been holding onto popped open as a sniper directed his weapon out. It only took a moment for him to see her but at that point she had shoved a knife straight into his lower neck and then used the grip to pull her directly up. The knife was coated in the blood of the Collector as she slipped into the room and glanced around.
"This should do..." She muttered as she wiped the blood stained knife onto her clothes and slipped the weapon away. She bent down and grabbed the sniper rifle before glancing outside. She was up high enough that she could see the enemy overwatch clearly. She bent into position, took a deep breath before starting to pick them off one by one.

The smell of the smoke as they ran made the situation more unsettling but by this point the young woman realized she'd never really wanted to achieve something so badly before until now, finding Hoch was all that mattered at the moment. The thought of it made her run faster and as the door collided into Icos before her she skid to a stop, her revolvers aimed at the group of three before them as they aimed back.
'No no...no no no! Get out of my damn way!' her voice said loud and clear in her head and in the briefest of moments she'd almost screamed the words out at them. The only thing that stopped her from that was the familiarity in their eyes, something she recognized only too well. They were probably just as scared as she was, but they had to get past them and without panicking them enough to shoot at them instead.
"T-tell me where your prisoners are and I'll let you go!" she spat out instead, taking only a short moment after to debate how either smart or dumb that really was. She needed work at this. Nevermind the fact she was also outnumbered if they attacked instead, she didn't expect Icos to be up on his feet in the seconds it would take for them to pull the trigger.

The Collectors looked between each other, with Imperials in their way and fire behind them they really only had once choice - blast their way through. At least that's what Icos thought they were going to do when he grabbed his revolver from the ground and put two bullets in two of their heads with a third bullet blasting into one of their shooting arms. The suddenly violent altercation left the last living one screaming, to which a rather dazed Icos pulled himself up and walked over to him.
He grabbed the back of his head so that he had a good strong hold on his hair and slipped out his knife. "Answer the girl and you become the only Collector to make it out alive." Icos hissed, "Otherwise I throw you back in that room, lock it and let you burn." Icos had no time to waste and he doubted that those three would disclose information when they thought they had the upper hand, as was shown to be a lie.
The young boy looked between Icos and Tanya as tears blurred his eyes and blood poured from his bleeding hand. "Ahhh," he whined as Icos tightened his grip on pressed the knife inches away from his eye. "Tell us now!" Icos roared. The boy relented to the fear of death far quicker than Icos could have hoped for.
"They're in boxes on the top floor! Room 503!" He cried out. Icos held his breath and found no reason why the boy would lie. He released his grip and let him fall to the ground, only taking a second to dart away from the two.
Icos turned towards Tanya with eyes that were blank and cold. "They were going to kill us." He merely said as he slammed the door that the Collectors had come out from to try and hold back some of the smoke. "Don't doubt that for a second." One couldn't tell if he was assuring Tanya of that or himself. Either way, there was never a chance to see.

Tanya jumped as the first two Collectors dropped and she watched on frozen in place as Icos took to the third one. She didn't know why it was painful to watch, she'd seen this before and much worse from her father but maybe it was because for even those short moments she'd allowed herself to feel some kind of sympathy for them. Clearly that was a very, very bad mistake on her end as she took Icos's words after as a means of scolding her. It was like her father said, too, when Dust's assassins showed up on their front lawn and opened fire on them.
If you don't kill them, they'll kill you--there's no 'negotiate' option in the middle here...
With that in mind she simply nodded, biting her lip. Icos was right she told herself, she'd learn from this even though she felt something so wrong about it all in her heart all the same. It was time to move though.
"He said top floor, we better go," she said quickly, taking several steps back and trying to recall where they'd seen stairs along the way.

Icos let her walk away from him and for a moment he just stood there, wiping away some blood that had gotten on him (he couldn't tell you when) before following Tanya back. He had remembered crossing some stairs a little bit back and by the time he remembered where Tanya had already found it. "We better hurry." Icos said as he could hear the movement up perhaps dozens Collectors beginning to get the hell out of the building.
Part of him wanted to turn back right now, grab a stack of papers and call it a night. But they had lost so many people getting into here that he needed to see this through, even if all they did was pull a Dwarv Minor out he could still justify this all. Icos and Tanya traveled up the floors, the best part being that the Collectors were in such a major panic that they didn't even notice Tanya and Icos as enemies, many of them just passed by. Which was fine by Icos because there was a LOT of them they were rubbing shoulders with.
"Be calm..." Icos whispered as they pushed their way to the fifth floor. By the time they reached it the floor had been evacuated already and nobody seemed to remain. The smoke was heavy though, stinging their eyes and clogging theirs longs so badly that Icos had to shield his nose to keep the smoke from bothering him. "Quickly." He said as they approached the door, "let's get in and out!"

If it was one thing Tanya was happy for, it was them not having to stop to take out any of the Collectors they did pass along the way. Not only did that take up valuable time, there really were a lot of them that she wouldn't be sure if they'd be able to fight them all and make it back out of the building themselves, let alone find Hoch along the way. She counted the floors in her head as they pushed on, her heart racing more as they got closer to the fifth floor and coming into smoke so thick, too dark to see.
She had to stop herself from running ahead of him, to throw the door open and charge in. She'd already made one bad call that nearly cost them their lives, she didn't want to make another. She knelt lower, trying to keep herself as close to the floor as she could to help navigate through the fire and smoke and she brought her sleeve up to help mask her as well. Tanya gave him a nod and quickly said, "Ready!" to let him know they could proceed and she'd take to whatever laid ahead of them.

Zahkriit got next to Natalia and helped her shoot off Dust Collectors. "Looks like they are getting though." Zahkriit said as he changed clips. It looked like Dust fate was going to be sealed tonight.
