As fast as Callie was it was far too slow for Natalia, who passed the time taking at least another shot and a half of the vodka. It didn't even occur to her how illegal what they were doing was, something she'd probably never do under normal circumstances seemed completely right once she got close to a dozen shots in her. The soft hum from the motorcycle coming to life nearly caused her to drop her bottle as the silence was suddenly broken, she wasn't angered by this as she made a rather excited sound as Callie got onto the motorcycle and laid down the law of the land.
"Oh look at you," Natalia gave a stifled laugh as she slid onto the motorcycle and tucked herself close to Callie with her arms wrapped around her in a tight yet not uncomfortable way, "If anyone saw Lady Natalia Noltimere of Creta taking orders from a untitled Ellusian I'd be in deep trouble..." She probably didn't even mean to say that aloud, if she did she didn't mean for it to sound so... insulting. Yet she didn't even notice this, she just gave Callie a small tap on the side and spoke once more, "Take me somewhere fun, Calisto!"

Callie didn't like the comment, despite however much she drank it never made it any better to be reminded how much of a nothing she was here or in Ellusia. Yet her parents would have always argued that 'nooo, everyone has a place in the Empire blahblahblah that's what makes us strong as one unit and blahblahblah be grateful to be part of it' - with possibly the exception of her mother, who tried very hard to keep it subtle that she always kind of had a small, almost childish hope of moving Callie up the social ladder even one step. In a way, that was what made Callie and her mother similar, feeling there was something more than where they stood, something more that they could do if they really, truly wanted to. Callie was the only one out of the two that acted on it.
Whatever. She was used to it, she couldn't get angry having a woman as lovely as Natalia talk the way she did to her. Shrugging it off she smiled and made sure she was hanging on tight as she ripped out of the parking lot with the motorbike.
"I know just the place," she said and away they went. She took out of the area quick with the bike, only slowing down to blend in with traffic - at least as much as two Ellusian women in club apparel on a rich motorcycle could blend in in the Thelotian downtown area that was.
Coming to a hill however, Callie suddenly had a different idea. With a grin, they took down it and she sped up, roaring past the vehicles on the road in blurs of light and feeling the wind whip her hair behind her. With a steady breath she steered in and around vehicles as smooth as water and took them over a bridge on their way to their destination.
"You like the lights?" she called behind her, half forgetting that Natalia had been sick earlier and really hoping she didn't aggravate it now.

Thankfully the ride didn't seem to make Natalia any sicker than she had been, for some reason or another she seemed to be enjoying the night ride through the richest city in the world. Even the capitol city of Ellusia, when had more people living within it than Thelotia did, didn't have anywhere close to the wealth Thelotia did (not counting the Imperials of course), Thelotia's wealth was very well spread throughout the society while Ellusia's were not at all. Sure people got by in Ellusia but rarely could they hope of having anything significantly better than their parents had, yet here in Thelotia everyone dreamed of a high rise apartments and a million Thelo job and they were very much unattainable to those who tried.
The lights reflecting off the bay water was probably one of the most beautiful sights she had seen in a long time. It made her want to retract her statement about how fucked up Thelotia was, almost at least, because in the end it was a city built on greed and ambition that led to the death of her friend. The Imperials always told their citizens that greed and ambitions were unsatisfactory traits, accept what's given to you and don't want more. She wondered if Thelotia had less unsatisfactory traits would Icos still be alive? Nothing Natalia was thinking was making much sense to her at this moment and she decided it would be best to simply stop thinking and enjoy the sights.
"I do..." She finally spoke out, her voice quite yet cutting through the fast moving wind good enough for Callie to hear her, "It's beautiful."

Callie smiled, content with her answer and said nothing more as they continued their ride. The busy city view slowly blurred into something almost exotic as the night lights featured several new colours that could only be seen on the beach, exactly where Callie had taken them. The road was a touch slick for someone on a motorcycle with the soft sand covering the roadway in patches but she managed alright as they came to a slow halt in front of a two-storey house fully alight with blinking, flashing lights and a hard bass booming from the music inside of it. It was filled with people, some of them were passed out in the driveway. If Calisto knew Arnheim, she knew well that the man was Currie's best friend, which meant party. Every night. She wasn't surprised in the least that Arnheim was hosting one not just because of his great passion for it but in that really awkward way they were celebrating the life of their leader while whoever was on the shift work was stuck watching the hospital. Callie hopped off of the bike, offering a hand to Natalia to help her over. "Hope you're not against a little house party. These guys are fun and they know the city better than I do, if we're bored they know what to do. What do you think?"

Natalia watched as they sped past all the lights, which in her head seemed like a blurred rainbow of colors that meshed together brilliantly. She found herself snugly pressed Callie. Having shut her eyes she let the soft hum from the bike and the wind in her hair sweep her away into some day dream.
The booming from the music finally caught her attention, lifting her head to view the house with a bright smile crossing her lips. Natalia slipped off the bike and tucked the vodka away in one of the bike's holding areas, giving it a light pat before looking at Callie and deciding she needed to explain her actions, "For later." She said as she smoothed out her red hair and looked at the house carefully, "Are you reading my mind, Calisto? I love house parties."
With a quick movement she wrapped her arm around Callie and took the first couple of steps towards them. She wasn't sure what was going to be in the house but at this point she was probably okay with just about anything - so long as there were plenty of drinks and music there!

Callie nodded, not sure if she should have really responded to Natalia explaining she needed to put the vodka away for later but she did so anyway. With Natalia's arm around her Callie slipped her arm around Natalia's waist as well as they proceeded up the stairs and into a living room alive with wall-thundering bass, smoke, and the heat of bodies shoulder-to-shoulder dancing. The place was far more rowdy than the club they were in, and they certainly weren't dressed nearly as nicely as the two Ellusian ladies that had just walked on into the room.
Jaws dropped though as they entered. Some even whistled. A large light-skinned man approached them right away with a wide grin, long, bushy brown beard and two bottles of some imported ale in his hands. He looked over the two girls and nodded in approval, eyes falling on Callie right away.
"Calisto. This is eye-poppingly confusing! I need to get a picture of this," he laughed loudly. Callie smiled.
"Natalia," she said and gestured to the man before them, "this is Arnheim. He is a friend of mine. He was one of the guys who helped me get settled when I moved here to Thelotia."
Arnheim nodded politely to Natalia, looking over her again as he said, "It's a pleasure, I assure you. I love the presence of an Ellusian woman, she's powerful and elegant. Anything you'd like, my lady, you let me know, yeah?"
He added a wink and Callie rolled her eyes. It was the same spiel he gave her when she first met her, too. Arnheim was a real suckup for Ellusians, though it came in handy.

"This is a really fuckin' cool house you got here, Arnheim," Natalia said with a flash of a smile and a pat on his shoulders. Still leaning on Callie she lifted her free hand to point over to a table of drinks, "I'm currently without a drink, so quickly my beautiful lady, onward!" She exclaimed in a rather garbled manner that, when she lifted her hand she almost tipped forward. Almost, that is, she still appeared to be able to hold her balance... somewhat, even.
With the music blaring and the people dancing in the tight space it created a rowdy scene that Natalia seemed to eat up. She licked her lips and her free hand fell upon her hips, grinning widely she spoke towards Callie, "This is way better than that club! You really know how to party, Calisto!"

"Absolutely! You ladies like the drink? Callie, you get the drink," Arnheim yelled over the music as he wandered off a few steps and grabbed a cup and several shots from the table. He poured all of them into the cup and topped it off with an open bottle of booze and held it out to Callie while in his other hand he scooped up another for Natalia, something extra cute that when he handed it to her he gave her a wink and said, "Something lovely for the loveliest lady I've ever seen!"
When Arnheim looked back he saw the scowl Callie gave him, admittedly a bit out of jealousy and partially because she oddly enough felt as though she somehow needed to protect the taller woman. He grabbed a drink of his own and held the glass up at Callie, encouraging her to take the strong one he'd poured up for her.
"Come on, now. This is for Currie! You owe him that much!" he said happily. Callie rolled her eyes but she took the drink, by now convinced that if she didn't then Natalia surely wouldn't have any troubles dropping it herself. With a quick raise of her glass she tipped it back and down it went, burning all the way down the only way strong alcohol could and her eyes watered a bit. What in the hell did he put in this thing?
She smiled, giving a rough shake of her head and she heard Arnheim laugh.
"Another, ladies?" he asked. Callie nodded quickly, despite how harsh it was going down it really did make her feel a bit better and she gave a glance up to Natalia.
"How are you feeling? I feel like another and then we have another dance? I think he's got a balcony as well if you wanted some air."

Natalia didn't much care for the drink she was handed but honestly tasting the drink was pretty irrelevant right now. Regardless, she loved a man that would put a drink in her hands and she would never refuse such a kind gesture. "And thank yoouu..." Natalia meant to be flirty, no doubt, but she was far too drunk to do it properly. Natalia swallowed the drink it moments, giving a satisfied 'ah' sound before setting the empty cup down and smiling towards Arnheim, "That was awfully nice of you but the way to my heart is through stronger drinks." She gave a light pat on his cheek before he went to go get another round.
With Arnheim off to get more drinks Natalia looked down at Callie and gave a solid nod, "Yes, yes, one more drink... than we'll dance." It was weird because the girl she had her arms around was looking even cuter as the night went by. The way Callie seemed to protect her almost reminded Natalia of the night she kissed Icos, they were both so terribly drunk, it seemed to happen so quickly and they both decided it should not go any further afterwards. Callie wasn't Icos of course, nobody was Icos, yet at the same time Callie was very unique and sweet... Natalia wondered what it would be like to kiss her.
Natalia squeezed herself closer to Calisto and gave her a rather sly smile. She was rather enjoying the idea of dancing again.

"You like stronger? Strong like you, I'm sure!" Arnheim laughed as he loaded up a round of something dark and rough for the three of them and handed them out, "for you! For Currie! For whatever and whoever you celebrate for! Drink up, my loves!"
Callie barely had this cup to her lips when she felt Natalia move closer into her, something that made the shorter girl glance up at her spontaneous buddy for a moment. Whether it was the alcohol in her system or just her naturally Natalia felt very warm against her and in a way it was comforting. She dressed nice, she made an appearance and was surrounded by friends, all what Currie had wanted of her. It took her a moment to gather herself as she felt the threatening sting of a tear force its way into her eyes. Desperate to hide any kind of emotion she might have felt she tipped the glass and downed her drink, if nothing else if noticed she could blame it on the crappy liqour Arnheim served them in attempt to drunken them up.
"Done!" Callie announced and set the empty glass down, "we should probably go have some fun."
"Nah, one more! One more!" Arnheim chimed, already filling more glasses but Callie shook her head.
"Noooo. Seriously man, we're done, we gotta go do some things..."
"Come do all the things with me! Ladies, I show you the loft if you'd like. We have a hot tub, we have a balcony, I have very comfortable seating!"

Natalia gave a small cough as she swallowed the drink, feeling more light headed than normal after downing the strong drink. "There we go," she said happily, "That shit will knock you off your feet. I like it..." Arnheim's attempts to get them alone with him was almost cute but Natalia found no interest in it, no matter how fun soaking in a hot tub sounded she was far more interested in something else right now. She gave a sweet smile before handing the empty cup back to Arnheim, "Later, friend, I'm going to dance with my lady, if that's alright." She wasn't asking for permission of course and she led Callie away from Arnheim towards that balcony Callie had spoken of.
"I think your friend was trying to get us drunk. Or... drunker..." Natalia said with a little giggle, "I don't get so easily drunk though, I assure you. I'm barely drunk right now." She was actually very drunk, not as drunk as most people would be at this point but still pretty wasted... impressive nevertheless.
The brief time they were in the house had left Natalia sweating and the cool night air felt wonderful flowing against her. Natalia let go of Callie and leaned against the railing before taking a deep breath of the night air, the coolness of the air was like fuel and it left her feeling rejuvenated and excited. She turned back towards Callie and leaned against the railing, Natalia tilted her head to the side and smiled softly.
Pushing herself from the railings she took Callie's hands and placed them firmly on her hips before wrapping her own arm around Callie. Natalia knew there was music playing but it was all ambiance for the moment, "I love these moments... don't you?"

"What? But...!" Arnheim didn't have much time to argue with the ladies and as soon as he'd had the words stumble out of his mouth Natalia had already grabbed Callie and taken off on him. He gave it a shrug and took it as a loss, adding to his conclusion that Ellusian women were the best in bed but the hardest to get.
Callie was only too happy to get away from Arnheim at the moment as he was a fun guy and all but really pushy, Currie and him got along great for sure. She was happy enough to just take their party outside, the music was loud enough they could hear it clearly through the walls out here. At the mention of her friend trying to get them drunk Callie could only grin and nod, she didn't know how best to word Arnheim's intentions without right out accusing him of trying to bed her but as Natalia rambled further Callie found she'd missed her chance to speak up about Arnheim altogether, and as such there was no point in bringing him up any further. Natalia claimed she was barely drunk at the moment and she smiled widely, again finding no words to say as she felt it best to have her just believe in the moment that she was as she claimed she was. She was happier now and to Callie, that was important. And safe, despite her friend's attempts to find time alone with them she knew Arnheim enough to know that if he'd found the two of them passed out in the chairs or couch or something he'd just leave them alone and keep an eye on them. Natalia didn't need to know that half the men and women in this building were also fully armed in case something did happen.
Callie watched as Natalia rested for a few moments, the cool breeze playing with her shining red locks that framed her face like a work of art. She appreciated it, forgetting this was the same woman who earlier vomited on the dance floor in the club she admired the picture perfect scene of Natalia, tall, strong, and lovely standing there in the glimmering light from the moon in her dress on the balcony. She sighed contently then, things having worked out the way she wanted for now. With this in mind she paid little mind to when Natalia approached her and at first she didn't seem to get what was happening as Natalia placed Callie's hands on her hips.
The brown-eyed girl looked up at Natalia, realizing only moments later that she'd put her arms around her and in that moment Callie clammed up. She tried to respond nicely, stumbling out a shaky, "Y-yeah. I-it's all...perfect...y-y'know? It's nice out, we're having fun, you're fun. It's..." It was like her heart had slapped her in the throat then, cutting off her words. She swallowed hard and blinked up at Natalia, offering up pretty, sheepish smile instead for her lack of words then.

Natalia rocked to the side, a much more tamed dance than before but the embrace Callie and Natalia were in was far was almost like a dance of its own; Natalia's eyes locked onto Callie's and her breath slowed as the moment seemed to be locked in time. Nothing else around Natalia could pull her from this moment.
She did love these moments, the moments when she was embracing another and the tense where they wondered who would make the first move followed by the exhilaration after the move had been made. Of course there was a linger of doubt that Callie was even interested in her that way, yet in Natalia's drunken logic she could only assume there was one reason why some random stranger would stay with her despite the train wreck Natalia was and it had to be because they were interested in her.
Yet there was that moment Natalia wondered if she was even interested in Callie. She never really found herself all that interested in women, well, not really anyway. At this moment though she couldn't imagine being with anyone else. With the cute stutter Callie gave Natalia became set on making the first move.
“You're so cute,” Natalia giggled as she made the move; tightening her hold on Callie she leaned forward and intended to place a kiss on her lips Within the next moments she would find out if she misread the situation, that was for sure.

Callie left the silence between the two of them, nothing but the mumbling of the music through the walls of the house for herself and Natalia as they swayed together. It had been a long time since she'd really danced with anyone, the last person she remembered being Aerik and it didn't quite have the same feel to it as this did. She didn't think it was the alcohol, this was different, perhaps knowing that she truly appreciated the company of a woman was part of it but perhaps maybe it was loneliness that spoke out to her as well. Being around someone who at least for a time could understand her pain and struggles was enough to please her, and feeling Natalia's arms around her was something that provided more than warmth, it was comfortable.
This certainly wasn't the first time Callie had been called 'cute' by anyone, though she never knew how to respond to it. She saw Natalia coming in closer and there was a moment where it was like alarms started firing off in her head. How much had this woman drank, how much did she herself drink, how much of a bad idea was this? Even with all the booze in her she kept her head enough to know that something seemed not quite right but at the same time she felt so much more relaxed than she had earlier.
'I don't want to be alone' she thought to herself. She knew well what she wanted and it was the need for some companionship that made her slide her hands over Natalia's waist to wrap her arms around her and invite the kiss to land on her lips. Whether Natalia as in this for the night because of the booze in her or if she was actually interested in women, Callie wasn't going to complain. It only scared her to think what the redhead was going to say when she sobered up and found out about this was all.

Callie's lips were as soft as Natalia had imagined and tasted of the thick alcohol they had drank not ten minutes ago, she pulled back from the kiss and let out a string of quiet giggles as she came to realize what they just did. Natalia felt no embarrassment at all as she went back and kissed her again, this time deepening it and wrapping her arms around Callie.
Natalia was always told she did stupid things when she was drunk, yet she couldn't find a single thing wrong with this. Natalia pulled away from Callie once more and took her hand within hers, "Oh gosh you're pretty. And nice! Staying with me like this, I've not met anybody who would do all this for me. I feel like we need to go somewhere more private, perhaps? I tire of crowds." There were plenty of other places they could go yet Natalia was probably thinking of finding a room in the house that wasn't being used. Natalia had no intentions of being alone tonight, being alone would only dredge up the memories alcohol seemed unable to block, at least when she was with Callie she wouldn't think of Icos, for the most part at least, "Come on, let's find someplace quiet!" Natalia added in a playful manner, tugging at Callie's hand.
