Player: Mark Fri
Name: Katori
Description: Standing at 5'7, Katori is from the Fos Tribe (Asian descent) with short dark hair and two tattoos on her body. One covers her entire right arm while another is positioned under her eye.
Age:25
Personality: Katori received no formal training and had no previous experiences in combat. So to try and maintain control of the situations around her, she tries to put out a feeling of control, which often comes out as aggression. In truth she's a very reclusive young lady, finding more solace in hiding in the corner then taking a leading position.
Place of birth: She was born to the Fos Tribe that lived on the outer region of Thelotia with her tribes people.
Factions: Rebels
Equipment: None
Magic: The mana that flows through Katori allows her to call on fire magic, the extent of her training is very limited, but she is able to form small bursts of fire and fireballs. The potential to grow is there, she just needs proper training.
Flaws: The fact that she has received no real training is easily one of the biggest flaws she has. Katori also has very hard time keeping her emotions in check, it'll be very easy to slip her up in combat with taunts.
History: Katori was just a young girl during the 'great riot' when she was separated from her parents, stumbling around the dark streets of Thelotia before finding herself at the door of a strip club. Growing up in this club probably left more emotional scars than anything (she never actually partook in the stripping), she's afraid of any strange man, having grown up around the most 'disgusting of all men' she thinks they're all barbaric and she has great trouble talking to anyone, really.
The owner of the club took great care of Katori and wanted her to live a 'normal' life, he enrolled her in a school and reminded her everyday before she went to school that 'You don't know magic, you can't use magic, you're normal'. She became highly secluded, often sneaking away from school and hiding in the nearby woods to try and get away from a world and culture that was not her own.
During a history lesson concerning the dangers of magic and the people who use it, she stood up from her chair and defiantly yelled out against the teacher. Katori's anger absorbed a great amount of the surrounding mana before pulsing it outwards, causing a shock wave in the entire class.
Thankfully, one of the adults nearby pulled Katori away before anyone could regain consciousness. The man who pulled her away told her that he was part of a movement, a movement of people that would see to it that her family would be freed. But for her own sake, he begged her to stay in hiding so that she'd one day be united with her family.
All nearby areas were searched by the military, including the club and each time they came Katori would run and hide in the garbage. Deep in the muck and waste Katori vowed that she would free her parents and she would do anything she had to ensure their release...
Out of school, Katori would spend the days on the street. Slowly expanding her 'play ground' further and further throughout the city, learning every passage and street possible. Katori soon figured out the buildings were a perfect way to navigate the city quickly, using the buildings was truly a trial and error training – more than once returning to the club with various broken bones. It took a long time, but Katori soon learned how to use the buildings just as easily as using the streets.
Up on the buildings Katori felt like a god, everything was so small from where she was... it felt like everything was in her grasp. With the city in the palm of her hands, Katori now needed the power to burn it down...
She convinced her guardian to give her a mana tattoo, and after awhile of bothering him, he complied. She received various tattoos up her right arm and under her eye, with the mana flowing through her veins she worked to master the fire magic.
Katori trained constantly with the fire magic, manipulating the fire with precise ability and when she finally mastered it... she set her eyes on a target.
Perhaps blinded by the thought that a simple kill would free her people, Katori aimed to try and kill a high ranking Thelotian politician. While he was speaking on stage, Katori made her approach through the crowd, with the fire magic charged in her hands she was just mere seconds away from burning the man when suddenly someone grabbed her before dragging her straight out of the crowd.
The man yelled at Katori, warning her such a move would just throw away her life forever. He told her that there was a better way, he told Katori to join the Rebels... it was truly the only way to save her parents from their cage.
