Ten years ago.
It was in the middle of Summer (so it being To Chameno it was still pretty cold) and the Dolus household was well, literally shaking with activity. "I'M NOT GOING TO REPEAT MY SELF AMORITE. YOU'RE. NOT. GOING TO. THAT. PARTY." Lee's voice roared. A vein on his forehead threatening to explode as he chased a fifteen year old Amorite through out the house. "GET BACK HERE." Lee yelled sliding over a table to close the gap. His level of rebelling had hit new unfathomable heights. Lee never thought it would get this far, to the point where he was now sporting a Mana tattoo, and blue streaks in his hair that looked absolutely ridiculous. Anyway, the matter of the fact is that Lee hasn't been this pissed in a long time.
"YOU'RE GOING INTO YOU ROOM AND GOING TO BED. AND NO, I DON'T CARE IF ALL YOUR FRIENDS ARE GONNA BE THERE, AND I DON'T CARE MOST CERTAINLY DON'T CARE THAT THIS IS GOING TO BE THE MOST 'ROCKING PARTY OF THE YEAR'." Lee was closing the distance fast, he jumped over a knocked over dresser, reaching out inches from the man.

Amorite, who had yet to fully hit his epic growth spurts, was jumping and sliding across the house in attempt to dodge his bigger half brother. "I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY AND STOP ME, PIG!" He slid under the table and out the other end before Lee could get around, placing a fair amount of distance between the two. Amorite cracked a smile and turned to look at Lee. The Amorite that stood before Lee was not the Amorite of today - the boy was small in comparison, 5'7 compared to his current 6'5, and face as greasy as any teenager's would be, his right ear had a small set of black earrings stringed across it and his eyes were were shadowed by makeup, yes, makeup. Amorite fancied himself as some type of outcast/rebel and he dressed himself entirely in black, even his signature beanie had been dyed deep black.
Anyway, this new rebellious attitude had given him a false sense of security when it came to authority and it never usually ended well. It wouldn't here, too, as Amorite ran himself right into a corner. Realizing his mistake he turned sharply back towards Lee and gave a weak smile, "Hey, uh, that pig thing was totally a joke annnd if you would just hold on a momentwecantalkokay!?" His voice rapidly sped up as Lee got closer.

Lee was done messing around, as his looming figure closed in a rather frightened Amorite he cracked his knuckles. He then grabbed him by the scruff of his collar, lifting him into the air, "Now you listen to me you ungrateful moron. I've had it up to here" he raised his free arm way above his head for emphasis, "With you." Lee started dragging the boy to his room, "I'm done with your little emo rebellion shit for the night. You're going to go to your room," Not like he had much of a choice this point, Lee was dragging him there whether he wanted to or not, "and not living until tomorrow morning." He let go of Amorite in front of his door.
He held the doorknob and motioned for him to step inside, "If I find you out of your room, for any other reason then the bathroom, your ass is grounded for a whole month." Lee slammed the door shut without letting him reply, "AND FOR GODSAKES TAKE THAT QUEER ASS MAKE UP OFF BEFORE YOU GO TO BED. IT STAINS THE GODDAMN PILLOW CASE."

Amorite struggled within his grip, kicking pointlessly and shouting over Lee's voice, "YOU CAN'T CONTROL ME- AGH, LET ME GOOOOOOO!" Being set down in his room Amorite turned just in time for the door to be shut in his face. No, the door wasn't locked but Amorite threw himself against it like it was, "These walls can't hold me! I will be going, it's my freakin' life!"
He pounded on the door once more before dramatically throwing himself against his bed and raging on it. That got old fast so Amorite just sat on his bed motionless, staring up at the ceiling and thinking how this room was like a iron cage of sort. He pulled himself up and quietly slid to the end of his bed, staring at the mirror he wondered how long it would take for Lee to fall to sleep. Too long, he imagined, knowing that awesome party was already starting.
Amorite pulled himself up from the bed and made one last check in the mirror. He brushed his dark hair further into his eyes before adjusting his dark beanie. "You can't keep me here..." Amorite hissed as he glanced towards his window, "You have no idea what you're trying to hold back..."
Walking closely to the window he knew Lee would hear him open the creaky thing, thankfully his new found powers would help. They were difficult to use and always awkward feeling when he did, yet he was starting to get used to them and what's a more important time to use them than now? Feeling the like humming of his powers his body melted into puffs of smoke, it wasn't as powerful or controlled as it would be but it did the trick - he flowed right out the cracked between the walling and the window.
Awkwardly reforming, Amorite gave a great laugh as he stumbled onto the ground, "Hahaha! Holy shit that was awesome. Okay - okay, it's time to roll!"

Lee had settled into bed for the night and was trying to drift off to sleep. However, sour feelings about how things went tonight kept him up, "Perhaps I was to hard on the kid..." Lee muttered, remembering that when he was his age all he wanted to do was hang with his friends. His friends were apart of a gang and they'd go house to house robbing things, but, it's basically the same idea. He rolled over, "I should go talk to him."
Getting out of bed Lee was now sure that he was to hard. Amorite was probably laying in bed feeling pissed off, but, he knew under it all, Amorite respected him. He stood at the door for a second preparing his sympathetic older brother voice, then knocked, "Amorite?" He knocked again, "I'm coming on in, buddy." opening his bedroom door Lee started his apologizing routine, "I think we need to talk about how things went down tonight...." Upon realizing Amorite wasn't in his room, Lee gripped the door handle so hard it dented.
"That little motherfucker!" He growled grabbing his coat and keys, and running out the door.

Amorite was off running across the cool streets of To Chameno, laughing his ass off at the idea of getting to the party and back without Lee ever finding out. He hitchhiked a ride across town to the old housing district where the houses were ages old and often a great deal smaller than the today houses, seeing how To Chameno was a mostly Dwarven city. The house was an abandoned one they often hung out in but tonight it was alight with activity - teenagers swarmed the place, lights were flashing and the sight of the many drunken men and women brought a smile to Amorite's face. He stepped lightly up to the house, roaming through the soft patches of grass where high kids were staring up at the stars in some type of high induced wonder. The music was blaring so loudly Amorite thought the house might fall over, it was shaking after all - well perhaps that was the pounding of all the teenage kids dancing in the house that made it shake so violently. Amorite entered into the house with a bright grin on his face, immediately being greeted at the entrance with a high five and a beer placed into his hand. It was everything he ever dreamed of.

Lee stepped into the old abandoned house with nothing but p.j.s and a jacket on. Strolling through like he owned the place he saw plenty of Amorite's friends, even bumping into one of them. This young mad was about fourteen years of age, and walking around with a beer in his hand.
"Oh hey Mr. Dolus I was jus-You know, I didn't want to be here it's just my friends dragged me along and-"
Lee didn't care to hear this guy poorly thought out excuses "Go the fuck home before I call your mother."
"Y-yes sir!" the little nerdy guy dropped his beer and hightailed it home like he was a bat outta hell.
Lee then caught sight of a young lady by the name of Sara. She and Amorite had know each other for awhile and he was pretty sure they even hooked up a couple of times, which Lee thought was absurd, because her nose was a little...well, deformed would be putting it kindly. Walking up to her Lee had to brace himself, Don't stare. Don't say any about it. Just get in, ask your question and get out. "Hey Sara..." He tried so hard, " Hows that nose treating you?" Dammit! "What I meant to say was...um..." Lee had a little trouble focusing Gods it looks like somebody put that nose through a grinder! "Have you seen Amorite around here?"

Sara was a... unique lady for sure but to be absolutely blunt she was rather ugly. Her nose was twisted and misshaped and her face broken out into what seemed like hundreds of pimples while her hair – which had the potential to be full and lush – was chopped down short and oily. The gods would only know why Amorite dated her for a week.
She turned and looked towards Lee, giving a look of complete disdain at the mention of Amorite. “I haven't seen him.” She answered back, her voice as screwed up as her nose.
Amorite wasn't far off though. He had been in the backside of the party with a close group of friends, drinking and chatting about absolutely random stuff. The talk of the town right now was Amorite's tattoos and how he was 'risking prison, but totally worth it cause they are so totally cool'.
“C-Can I touch them?” Questioned a short red headed girl of about fourteen years of age, her pale white face still childish and soft while her great big blue eyes stared up at Amorite with such wonder that it made Amorite's heart ache. If her eyes weren't enough to make a teenage boy's heart ache it was the way she spoke, soft and so terribly shy it was sickly sweet to listen to – Amorite was head over heels for the girl. Alala was her name and she had only recently joined the 'crew' Amorite had.
“Y-YEAH,” He exclaimed a bit too loudly, “I, mean, sure... if you wanna.” He raised his sleeve to reveal the small tribal tattoo that wrapped itself on his upper arm. She closer and lightly ran her fingers along the tattoo, the skin still raised and from how recent the tattoo had been.
“I think it's really brave of you to have done this...” A smile stretched across her face as she looked up at him. “Are you afraid that the Thelotians will find out?”
“Pfff, I ain't afraid of nothin'!” Amorite boasted with a great laugh. “Let them come, I say, I'd like to see them try and catch me when I go on smoke-style on their asses!”
This earned a laugh from the group and the small teasing joke from a number of his friends. Amorite looked around tentatively, weighing his options to make a move. “Hey, Alala, I-um, I actually really like this song... would you like to dance?”
To Amorite's great happiness she nodded and took his hand, off to the dance floor they went.

"Well, uh, okay." Lee looked away from her face, composing himself "Thanks for the help. Good bye Sara." Lee couldn't get away from her fast enough, his stomach swirling just thinking about that horrible, horrible face. Lee was down to one option, he'd have to search the whole house. He started roaming trying to find sight of Amorite or his posse of other dumb ass teenagers. He started his search in the back, where there were some rooms, Lee began to search each and every room thoroughly looking for the boy, a process which had caused Lee to walk in on several different people having there own little 'private party.' After his initial search Lee came back to the main room. Stopping some random kid and grabbing the beer he was holding. He took one giant sip, drinking more then the kid had this past hour. Gods I hate this stupid song. Lee thought as he stood there scanning the crowd.
Then Lee finally caught sight of Amorite's group of friends. Lee handed the beer back to the kid, "Thanks for sharing." He muttered. Coming up behind the group Lee slid a chair over. Everyone of them stared at Lee with an 'Oh shit' face. One even tried to sneak off in the most obvious of manners, "I've already seen your face Rodney, I'll turn your ass in unless you get back here! Don't you dare test me!" Lee called out, the boy quickly returning. "Good." Lee stated getting comfortable, "Now..." he pulled out his cell phone, "The first person to tell me where Amorite's at is off the hook." Lee then watched with delight as everybody turned on one another in a matter of seconds.
Lee stepped onto the dance floor, pushing his way through the high kids Lee found Amorite rather quickly. "Hey, asshole!" Lee called out. Giving him three seconds to realize exactly how much trouble he was in. It was a lot.

The music moved the people in the building like a puppet on strings - up, down, against each other, get low, repeat. Amorite was absolutely entranced by the beautiful redhead that was that jumping up, down, against him and low. Finally they broke the pattern when she put her arms around his neck and he put his arms around her waist, they were close now, eyes meeting each other as they neared for a kiss. Suddenly a tank of a man moved through the teenagers, breaking the repeating cycle for many. Amorite's eyes widened.
"Amorite, is everything okay?" Alala asked right before Lee shouted. Amorite chuckled nervously 'HOW DID HE FIND ME!?' He lifted his hands away from the girl and took a cautionary step back.
"Remember when I said I wasn't afraid of anything?"
"Yes..." She said, glancing between Lee and Amorite.
"Well I'm not going to run because I'm afraid... I'm going to run because, well, I have no choice..." With that Amorite placed a quick kiss on her cheek before turning and running in the opposite direction. "YOU'LL NEVER GET ME, YOU PIG!" Amorite cried as he charged through the crowd, laughing manically all the way through.

"OH IT'S ON YOU UNGRATEFUL LITTLE PUNK!" Lee called back, running after the boy. "YOU'RE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE, KID! YOU HAVE NO DAMN IDEA." He expertly weaved in and out of the crowds, moving quick and precise. He was right behind Amorite, inches from grabbing the boy by the scruff of the collar again, when a group of kids popped in front of him, cutting the two off. "Get outta my way dammit!" Lee ordered, shoving the kids out of the path. He had, however, lost sight of Amorite. He cracked his knuckles "When I find that little shit he's gonna be grounded all damn year." Lee growled.
He started looking for something to stand on so he was high enough to spot Amorite running in the crowd. The house wasn't filled with much furniture, other then chairs and couches, but, there was a pretty solid looking table. Clearing the table of empty beer cans with one long slide of his arm, Lee leaped onto the table. Standing straight up he had a great view of the entire house, "Now where'd you go you sneaky bastard?" Lee muttered looking from crowd to crowd. All the teens managed to blend together, it took Lee a couple of seconds to spot the Amorite among them, "Gotcha." Amorite had managed to put a fair bit of distance between the two of them, "I SEE YOU BOY!" Lee called him out pointing directly at him, "DON'T YOU DARE MOVE!" Lee leaped off the table with a loud thud, kids were clearing out of his way, out of fear and Amorite was as good as dead right now.

Amorite was becoming a master at out running Lee, knowing when to duck behind people or jump dramatically into the air - simple things that would throw off his feeble little mind. Indeed, Amorite was clearly the higher of intellects. Dodging behind a group of teenager he tried to blend right in, knowing Lee wouldn't be able to distinguish one teenager from another...
Yet he did and Amorite's best option was this, "NO YOU DON'T." Upon realizing he did indeed see him Amorite decided it was time to move again, "HAHAHA, TELLING ME NOT TO MOVE. DON'T YA KNOW THAT'LL ONLY MAKE ME WANT TO RUUUUUN!" With a quick turn of his heels and a fast take off he flew forward...
Right into a wall.
"HAHAHA- AGH, UFF!" He yelped as his face collided right into the wall, tumbling the boy straight down onto the floor with a hard thump.

Lee made the quick trek over to Amorite, who seemed to have just succeeded in knocking himself out, something Lee had never seen before. shaking his head in awe, sighed he reached down, "Get off the floor Amorite." grabbing Amorite he lifted him back onto his feet. He was probably a little dazed so Lee waited a few seconds before he started talking, "What the hell are you playing at, is the an endgame to this?" he ran his hand through his hair, "What has this little act gotten for you so far? Has your quality of life improved? are you getting to do things that you want to? NO. You're acting like a goddamn toddler, saying no to everything just so you can have a little control!"
He shook his head, his ability to care had run its course for the night. "Fuck it, I don't care anymore. we're going home." Lee took two steps away, fully expecting Amorite to follow him out.

Amorite was rather dazed but not enough to not take insult to Lee's words, he straightened his wobbly body out and tried to stare bravely into Lee's eyes. "Now just hold on one second, I only sneak out because you won't let me live out MY life. Y-You're so damn afraid, that's what you are, you're a coward who's afraid of the world around him!" Amorite stuck his lip out in defiance and stared down the older man. Truly he looked rather brave... except his legs were shaking rather violently.
Nevertheless he had the entire crowd now staring at them so there was no backing down, "S-So why don't you run on back home where it'll be SAFE and let me LIVE!"

Lee scoffed at the whole coward comment, his feet tapping the floor rapidly as a way to exert his frustration. It probably felt like forever before Lee spoke up, "...You think about the next thing you say real carefully." He turned back to Amorite, his arms crossed tightly across his chest, "Because if it isn't 'I'm sorry Lee please forgive me I'll come home right now' I'll embarrass you in front your goddamn friends so badly you'll never, ever be known as cool again." his voice was even and steady, and very much unwavering. Presenting a false sense of calmness when Lee was truly fuming with frustration.
Last chance kid, don't fuck it up. Lee had no doubt in his mind that Amorite would indeed fuck it up.
