Konig Exusia was sitting in the back room of the same club in which he had informed Katori of her mission to get a hold of Kri. He had put the word out through many of his different sources that something big was about to go down and he wanted as many of their people here as they could possibly muster. He'd had some friends of his reach out to those who had showed any possible interest in joining the rebellion as well, it would be a good opportunity to see if they had what it takes to properly take part in this.
Lighting up a cigar, the big man was sat at his desk with numerous files in front of him, one of them was clearly centered around the tribes of Drakos Nisi given the pictures of the isle and images of the devastation left in the wake of some of the tribes and the Dragons and Wyverns that inhabited the island. Konig had heard rumors that the leader of one of the tribes was here in the city, assembling his own little force. The former soldier couldn't decide if that was good or bad, on one side he had no doubt that having this man on their side would be a massive help in securing territory for the rebellion, especially if the rumors about him slaying Dragons were true. Then, on the flipside, he was also said to be rather unstable in the mental front, and he was said to have murdered the last few people who took him in as a member of their own family, that was not the kind of person that Konig wanted to entrust with the future of this revolution.
The second file was a report on the situation in the Red Light District. The rebels were the De Facto leadership of the District, but the Government was still the visibly in-charge power, and that was something that needed to change. The report showed that the Government forces still had a number of spies in place around the District, who were feeding information back to the likes of his brother and his generals, allowing them to make movements in the District without Konig and his rebels catching wind of it. That was why he was assembling everybody together, it was time they made their first move as a proper, unified force.
He exhaled a cloud of smoke, sat back, and waited.

He hadn't had too much trouble getting into the club where the word on the streets was that the rebels were recruiting; it was one of those places they didn't really care about your age or your reasons, just so long as you started no trouble while there. Since people didn't start things with Jason inside, Jason didn't start things with anyone else.
"Looks like I"m early," he muttered to himself as he ducked into the back room. "This where the big meeting's happening...?"
He wasn't usually hesitant about anything, but he still wasn't sure whether or not he'd be welcome; Vincent wasn't exactly a common last name, and he had to bet these guys probably knew who his parents were, at least, even if they didn't know him.

Konig looked up with his single eye as a young figure stepped into the back-room. He quickly flicked through his files. He'd been going through them consistently for a day and a half in order to memorize faces and get a solid handle on names. Picking up one particular image, he held it up to compare it to the young lads face, before placing it back in its respective file. This done, he exhaled a cloud of smoke and removed the cigar from his mouth. Leaning forwards, he spoke in gruff tones.
"I would assume, if my intel is correct, that you are one Jason Vincent. Son of David Alexander Vincent and Agatha Vincent, politicians within the Thelotian Government, yet despite all of this you're still rather vocal in your support for the sympathetic groups within Thelotia, and thus, find yourself on my doorstep..." Konig's eye flickered up to Jason, resting his elbows on the table and clasping his hands together, his cigar protruding from in between his fingers.
"I won't lie to you, Jason. This is not some simply sympathy group that I've pulled together to take political action for the rights of Mages and mana users. This is a true rebellion, a paramilitary and guerrilla force that aims to take back this city by any means necessary. Are you truly prepared for that?"

"You think I'm not ready to fight for what I believe in?!" His fists clenched, his entire body stiffened.
There was his temper getting the better of him again, the small rational portion of his mind put in.
He forced himself to relax uncurling his fists. "I'm not a trained soldier," he said, forcing his mind into gear. "I do know how to defend myself. And whatever you're willing to teach me, I'll learn. This isn't just some activism thing to me. This is literally my life. I'm ready to do whatever it takes to free Thelotia. I grew up with the government. I know what kind of shit they really are."

"Okay, whatever you do just please TRY and be respectful," Katori warned Kri as they approached the club, "Konig is probably the most important person you'll ever meet in your life. So just don't do something that'll embarrass me, okay?"
She hung by the door, waiting for the 'No, I promise I won't do anything stupid' from Kri before they entered and met with the leader of the rebellion.

"I'm not worried that you're going to be incapable of fighting for this cause, I'm not even worried that you're not willing to die for it, but what does concern me is that you're as green as the grass in Skotadi forest. Eventually we're going to be standing up on our own two feet and start launching militaristic assaults on Districts currently under the Governments control. People will die and you will see that, and you will see people disfigured and scarred for life just as I was. And then, when we finally have a hold on the city, all those who helped pass this legislation which has enslaved mana users, will be placed in prison." He let out a small sigh.
"And I need to make sure that you are up to that. If you are, today will be a good start and there will be plenty more to learn after you've achieved that..."

"For mana users," he said, "it's fight or die. Kill or be killed. Whether I'm ready or not, I accept that reality. Ever since I was fourteen I've had to deal with the fact that I'd be enslaved or killed if anyone ever knew the truth, andmy parents would be the first in line calling for my head. Teach me to fight. Teach me to kill. I don't have a future if you don't. Disfigured and scarred, horribly maimed, ready or not, I've got two choices - ignore what's happening until my life is pulled down around my ears, or embrace it and make a choice to do something about it. Get them before they get me. Not revenge or retribution - survival."

"What, me?! Naaaah! I'll be on my best behavior!" Kri promised before stepping through the door, bandaged arm waving about wildly in its sling as he painted a massive grin across his face and comfortably plonked himself onto the couch against the back wall. He gave a large wave to everybody that was already in the room, which just so happened to be two people...
"YO! So this is where we're all gathering huh..?" He looked around. "Kind of a dump."

=_= Katori cringed as Kri burst into the club, "Kriii!" She hissed as he walked in, as he threw himself on the couch she simply tried to cover her embarrassment. "S-Sir, what he was truly saying was, uh... uh..." She blinked, her mouth going dry as she tried to come up with any words, "dumb in a sense that the government will NEVER think to look here!"

Konig simply nodded at Jason. That was all that he needed to hear, he knew that this kid had exactly the right qualities that they needed in a young soldier.
"Alright. But this time around, don't throw yourself straight into it, stand back, watch others and learn how we do thin-"
At that moment, Kri burst through the door proclaiming that the place was a dump, rebel Katori following behind him. He couldn't help but resist a chuckle as he finally stood up from behind the desk, placed his cigar in his mouth and stepped up to the now seated Kri. He held out a hand.
"Kri, it's been a while."
"I guess it has, big man."
"Your report before you fled was very helpful."
"I do try."
The exchanges were quick, sharp, barely any space between the words of the first speaker and then the second. There was a brief pause as an awkward silence hung about the room, before they both burst into laughter.

"I-I'm sorry..." Katori said, looking between the two, "How do you two know each other...? If I may ask." She quickly added, feeling sweat roll down her forehead. It was a little stressful being around the most powerful person she knows, not to mention he was kinda of a intimidating figure.

Kree stepped into the club. The air was thick with smoke and filled with the sounds of laughter and music. Despite all of the wallets full of Thelos that resided in the pockets of all of those inside, Kree was more interested in dancing and having a bit of fun. She smirked and looked around, her sneaking appearance dimmed as she walked around. She'd heard about this club and what would be going on tonight. Rebels would be recruiting. She hadn't been interested in them in truth. She'd always got the feeling that they had rules and there was nothing she despised more than rules. She understood them pretty well and often followed them ... but only those she liked and in truth the rules of the Rebels never really matched her wants.
Pushing through the crowds, she slowly dipped her hands in the back pockets of someone, quickly slipping the wallet out and shoving it into her jean pockets.

Konig nodded at Kri before looking across at Katori.
"Kri here used to effectively be a prisoner of Titan Inc. He managed to smuggle a report out to me on the night that he managed to escape, giving me a few details on how things were looking on the inside. The Government may be the controlling power, but it's long accepted that Titan Inc. are the ones pulling the strings when it comes to Mana users. But since then, he's been on the run, occasionally dropping in a report here and there about government movements, he has been an invaluable asset but normally we had to keep him at arms bay because of The Stalker. Kri here though, has figured out how to tell when it is close, as well as what triggers it off. So long as he informs us in advance not to say his name, we'll be fine."
Kri seemingly nodded his assent.
"Good job on bringing him in T'elva. Anyway... There's one man whom I'm waiting on now before we can properly get started... And I have but one word of warning towards you all about him. He'd dangerous. Right now he's weakened personnel wise, but if he grew in strength he could prove to be just as large a threat as the Government... His name, is-

Post by Ataxía; Dragon Slayer on Jul 21, 2013 17:20:56 GMT
Whilst Konig gave his speech, a man was stood in the club along with all the other patrons. He had relatively long, light hair which was tied back in a ponytail. He had intentionally laid his wallet in obvious view. If he were to succeed in this city, he would need the right people on his side. Rather than feeling them go for his wallet, he more sensed it. He spun around and grasped the figures wrist, noticing it was a young woman he simply shook his head. She had guts, he had to admit, pickpocketing numerous people in a confined space in a short amount of time.
“Follow me.” He grumbled, before heading off towards the backroom where the Rebels were meeting. He clearly let the girl keep the wallet.
”His name, is-“
The door suddenly burst open, the man walking in with his head held high, a metal Happuri covering the lower half of his jaw and a white and red mask covering his face.
“Ataxía. Slayer of Dragons, Conqueror of Drakos Nisi’s tribes and renowned warrior. Yes, that is indeed I. I would assume that this parlour mob is some of the more promising members of the rebellion? Hmph. It is indeed a good thing that I am here. So, Konig, the One-Eyed-Devil of Thelotia, what indeed is your plan?”

The man who walked in with Ataxía was almost as unusual as his 'master', elven ears adorned with jewelry and his mode of dress outlandish and strange, like something from a past time or more primitive cultures, and his hair was dyed in many colors of the rainbow. It was straight and wild, and hung over one of his eyes, leaving the other to stare, curiously, coal-black, at the rebels.
He reached up with one hand to brush a varicolored strand back behind his ear and flashed the tattoo of an eye that stained the back of one hand.
"Surely we have much to offer such a group," he said in a pleasantly condescending voice.
